Wishing all my dear friends a wonderful day!
Today, I bring you an amazing and flavorful recipe: crispy fried okra that's perfect to pair with rice. This is the first time I’ve prepared it, and it turned out incredibly tasty. The okra retains its beautiful green color and nutritional value throughout the preparation. Okra is one of the most nutrient-rich vegetables, packed with health benefits. Check out how I prepared it, and let me know if you like the method! Let's dive into the recipe and see how to make this delightful dish. Shall we get started? 😊
Materials Used.
Okra 200g.
1 Finely chopped onion.
1 Chopped tomato.
3 cloves of chopped garlic.
Curry leaves.
1 Teaspoon of Mustard Seeds.
1 Teaspoon of crushed chili powder.
1/2 Teaspoon of pepper powder.
1 Teaspoon of chili powder.
Coconut oil for frying.
1 Egg.
3 Teaspoon of Soy sauce.
1 Teaspoon of Tomato sauce.
2 Teaspoon of Corn flour.
Salt as needed.
The cooking process as follows.
To begin, take the okra and wash it thoroughly. After cleaning, chop it into moderately sized pieces.
Next, take a bowl and crack an egg into it. Add some salt, pepper powder, and mix it well. Then, add corn flour and chili powder to the mixture and combine everything thoroughly. This creates the flavorful coating for the okra.
Now, add the chopped okra to the mixture and mix everything thoroughly, ensuring the okra pieces are well-coated with the flavorful batter.
Next, take a pan and add some coconut oil to it. Place the pan on the stove, and once the oil is hot, fry the coated okra until it turns golden brown.
Next, I took a clay pot and added two tablespoons of coconut oil to it. Placing it on the stove, I allowed the oil to heat up. Then, I added mustard seeds, followed by garlic, curry leaves, and onions. I mixed everything well and let it sauté for a while until lightly browned.
Now, I added a pinch of salt, chili flakes, soy sauce, and the chopped tomato pieces to the pot. I mixed everything thoroughly and allowed it to cook for a short while, letting the flavors blend together perfectly.
Finally, I added the fried okra pieces to the pot and mixed them well, ensuring they were evenly coated with the flavorful mixture. After letting it cook for a brief moment, I removed the dish from the heat.
The completed fried okra dish is exceptionally flavorful and aromatic. It’s a recipe that can be proudly presented as a festive treat. As a finishing touch, I added a drizzle of tomato sauce on top to enhance both its visual appeal and taste. I encourage you all to give this a try in your own kitchens. With that, I’ll take my leave for now. Have a wonderful day!
