Sucede que este cosplay como tal no estaba en mi lista de “por hacer” y es que el año pasado en Halloween tuve la bonita experiencia de ser invitada cosplayer en una convención de mi ciudad, eso me tomo por sorpresa así que dije ok como voy a ser invitada por primera vez quiero estrenar cosplay, estuve pensando mucho que cosplay hacer, termine eligiendo a el personaje Roxane Wolf de FNAF Security Breach que por mi demás post se darán cuenta que soy una enorme fan de esta serie de juegos además de que el juego tuvo un DLC en donde el personaje tuvo mucho protagonismo y se ganó mi corazoncito y tuve que hacerla.
It happens that this cosplay as such was not on my "to do" list and last year on Halloween I had the nice experience of being a cosplayer guest at a convention in my city, that took me by surprise so I said ok, how am I going? To be invited for the first time I want to try out my cosplay, I was thinking a lot about what cosplay to do, I ended up choosing the character Roxane Wolf from FNAF Security Breach, which from my other posts you will realize that I am a huge fan of this series of games in addition to the fact that the game had a DLC where the character had a lot of prominence and won my heart and I had to do it.
Hacer un cosplay cuando no se tiene planeado es arriesgado ya que planificar con tiempo evita que pasen muchas cosas que me pasaron XD. Lo primero es que mis cosplays son patrocinados por otras personas, sucede que, si conseguí patrocinador para este proyecto, persona que ya había trabajado conmigo antes y era de mi total confianza. Lo primero que hice cuando ya tenía los recursos fue comprar la peluca y los lentes que es lo más necesario ya que accesorios y traje se pueden conseguir en el mismo país o hacerlos uno mismo.
Doing a cosplay when you don't plan it is risky since planning ahead prevents many things that happened to me from happening XD. The first thing is that my cosplays are sponsored by other people, it happens that, if I got a sponsor for this project, a person who had already worked with me before and was completely trustworthy. The first thing I did when I already had the resources was to buy the wig and glasses, which is the most necessary since accessories and costumes can be found in the same country or made yourself.
Pasa que el patrocinador no me cumple y me aviso de que no podía 3 semanas antes de la convención lo cual me deja con poco tiempo para resolver un cosplay que en mi mente ya estaba hecho, tuve la suerte de que publique que tal vez que no haría el cosplay y otro patrocinador salió de sorpresa y me dice “ten para el cosplay, le entro al proyecto” yo casi que vi a dios de la suerte que tuve jajaja y que al siguiente día me voy a comprar las telas y todo. También alcance a mandar a hacer estas partes de peluche para el personaje, fue a último momento y estoy muy feliz de que me aceptaran el pedido y lo tuvieran para cuando lo necesitaba.
It happens that the sponsor does not comply with me and he told me that he could not 3 weeks before the convention which leaves me with little time to solve a cosplay that in my mind was already done, I was lucky that he published that maybe not I was going to do the cosplay and another sponsor came out of surprise and told me “have enough for the cosplay, I'll enter the project” I almost saw how lucky I was hahaha and that the next day I'm going to buy the fabrics and everything. I also managed to have these stuffed parts made for the character, it was at the last minute and I am very happy that they accepted my order and had it for when I needed it.
A todo esto, todavía no tenía las cosas que pedí de afuera. Llego el día en el que llegaban mis pedidos y por ninguna parte estaba mi peluca, cuando pregunto por ella pasa que la tienda no la pidió, esa vez yo hice un pedido grande y al parecer de entre todas las cosas justamente no pidieron mi peluca por error, fue un golpe duro pero yo no soy una persona que se estresa ni peleona y si no había peluca pues no había y ponerme a pelear no iba a resolver eso la tienda rápidamente me ofreció varias soluciones al momento y por suerte tenían una peluca blanca que funcionaba para mi personaje, obvio la según había comprado venia estilizada como el cabello del personaje y esta me tocaría a mi estilizarla pero igual les dije que si la quería.
Despite all this, I still didn't have the things I asked for from outside. The day arrived when my orders arrived and my wig was nowhere to be found. When I ask about it, it turns out that the store didn't ask for it. That time I placed a large order and apparently, of all things, they didn't ask for my wig at all. mistake, it was a hard blow but I am not a person who gets stressed or fights and if there was no wig then there was none and starting to fight was not going to solve that. The store quickly offered me several solutions on the spot and luckily they had a white wig that worked for my character, obviously the one I had bought came styled like the character's hair and it would be up to me to style it but I still told them if I wanted it.
Al siguiente día tuve que ir a otra ciudad en otro estado para buscar eso porque era el día anterior a la convención y el servicio de entregas dura de 2 a 3 días a que lleguen las cosas y se tuvo que ir a buscar personalmente.
The next day I had to go to another city in another state to look for it because it was the day before the convention and the delivery service takes 2 to 3 days for things to arrive and I had to go look for it personally.
Ya para la tarde noche tenía ya todo, el traje me fue entregado en la noche porque lo mande a hacer, solo había unos detalles que cocerles, pero como eran accesorios y cosas más detalladas en eso me ayudo mi mamá mientras yo terminaba el accesorio principal que es un sintetizador que es el instrumento que el personaje toca. Mi mamá y yo nos quedamos como hasta las 3 de la mañana terminando todo par el día siguiente.
By the evening I had everything, the suit was delivered to me at night because I had it made, there were only a few details to sew, but since they were accessories and more detailed things, my mother helped me while I finished the main accessory which is a synthesizer which is the instrument that the character plays. My mom and I stayed until about 3 in the morning finishing everything the next day.
Un detalle del traje es que al elegir la tela buscaba una que fuera semi brillante pero que no se viera como tela de disfraz de niños entonces estuve mucho tiempo buscando en la tienda, encontré una tela roja casi como de cuero pero tenía un tipo de brillo con textura muy sutil y bonito así que decidí que sería esa, pasa que la costurera por alguna razón pensó que ese era el reverso de la tela y que hace el traje con la tela con lo de atrás hacia adelante, no se lo comente pero me dio risa que yo tanto elegir la tela para que al final bueno jajajajaaj pero el traje quedo espectacular.
One detail of the costume is that when choosing the fabric I was looking for one that was semi shiny but that didn't look like children's costume fabric so I spent a lot of time looking in the store, I found a red fabric almost like leather but it had a kind of shine. with a very subtle and beautiful texture so I decided that it would be that, it happens that the seamstress for some reason thought that that was the back of the fabric and that she makes the suit with the fabric from the back to the front, I didn't tell her about it but she told me It was funny that I chose the fabric so much so that in the end well hahahahaha but the suit turned out spectacular.
Y bueno al final así quedo mi cosplay, fue una experiencia bonita que realmente no me esperaba el que me invitaran a una convención, pero me lo pase muy bien y quede agradecida por tal oportunidad. El cosplay lo modifique un poco puesto que el personaje lleva una especie de traje deportivo muy corto y aunque a veces si se ven este tipo de trajes en preferí evitar los problemas así que la parte de abajo la mande a hacer como si fuera un short en vez de una parte de abajo como de traje de baño personalmente me hubiera gustado llevarlo como el personaje, pero prefiero evitar que no me dejen entrar a una convención por tal razón.
And well, in the end this is how my cosplay turned out, it was a nice experience that I really didn't expect to be invited to a convention, but I had a great time and I was grateful for such an opportunity. I modified the cosplay a little since the character wears a kind of very short sports suit and although sometimes you see these types of suits in I preferred to avoid the problems so I had the bottom part made as if it were shorts in Instead of a bottom like a swimsuit, I personally would have liked to wear it like the character, but I prefer to avoid not being allowed to enter a convention for that reason.
Como la peluca me llego un día anterior no tuve tiempo de modificarla mucho, pero para la próxima convención a la que asistiría llevaría este cosplay así que tuve más tiempo para estilizar la peluca y hacer más bonito el sintetizador del personaje.
Since the wig arrived the day before I didn't have time to modify it much, but for the next convention I would attend I would wear this cosplay so I had more time to style the wig and make the character's synthesizer more beautiful.
El cabello de ella es un peinado hacia atrás con un mecho verde que cae hacia adelante así que lave la peluca y seque antes de estilizar, le hice un corte en v con picos y para hacer su cabello hacia atrás coci lo que pude y lo que quedo de cabello cuando corte su largo lo use para hacer mechones y pegarlos para hacer el peinado hacia atrás, los mechones los hice y pegue con silicón caliente con cuidado. Para el mechón verde use pabilo escolar verde el cual deshilache y planche para que quedara como cabello, hice tiras con los hilos y capa por capa fui pegando hasta que quedara el mechón.
Her hair is a slicked back hairstyle with a green streak that falls forward so I washed the wig and dried before styling, I gave her a v cut with spikes and to make her hair slicked back I cooked what I could and what What's left of hair when I cut the length, I used it to make strands and glue them to make the back hairstyle, I made the strands and carefully glued them with hot silicone. For the green strand I used green school wick which I frayed and ironed so that it looked like hair, I made strips with the threads and layer by layer I glued until the strand remained.
La verdad me gustó mucho el resultado, es la primera vez que hago algo así y estoy satisfecha, luego a los días fui al centro de mi ciudad y vendían mechones verdes, hubiera sido genial eso, pero no me confiaba de encontrarlos ya que en mi ciudad no suelen vender nada que sirva para el cosplay (ciudad muy pequeña).
The truth is that I really liked the result, it is the first time I have done something like this and I am satisfied, then a few days later I went to the center of my city and they were selling green locks, that would have been great, but I didn't trust myself to find them since in my city they don't usually sell anything that is useful for cosplay (very small city).
Y así quedo el cosplay con los nuevos arreglos. Esta convención a la que fui es una de las más grandes que hacen en mi país, no suelo ir mucho a ella porque me queda lejos y el viaje es algo caro pero esta vez trajeron a invitados internacionales y entre ellos trajeron a un cosplayer italiano llamado Taryn al cual admiro mucho y me dije “tengo que conocerlo si o si” y pues que si lo conocí y aquí mi fotito super feliz con él, no me encanto como salí pero es que estaba demasiado nerviosa al conocerlo y es que también me ponía nerviosa porque había que hablarle en inglés y yo cuando lo vi hasta se me olvido el español jajaja casi que ni pude pero además de ser un gran cosplayer es una persona muy bonita y amable, quede aún más fascinada con él, muy humilde, talentoso y eso le suma más al profesional que es.
And this is how the cosplay looked with the new arrangements. This convention I went to is one of the biggest they do in my country, I don't usually go to it a lot because it's far away and the trip is a bit expensive but this time they brought international guests and among them they brought an Italian cosplayer named Taryn whom I admire a lot and I said to myself “I have to meet him no matter what” and well I did meet him and here is my super happy photo with him, I didn't love how it turned out but I was too nervous when I met him and it also made me nervous because we had to speak to him in English and when I saw him I even forgot Spanish hahaha I almost couldn't but in addition to being a great cosplayer he is a very pretty and kind person, I was even more fascinated with him, very humble, talented and That adds more to the professional he is.
Le llevé como regalo unos dulces de chocolate y este peluche que yo misma hice como un mini el por su cosplay de la muerte del gato con botas que me encanto mucho.
I brought him as a gift some chocolate candies and this stuffed animal that I made myself as a mini for his Death of Puss in Boots cosplay that I loved a lot.
También conocí al actor que le da voz en español a Bob Esponja, también es el que le da la voz a ken en las películas clásicas de barbie lo cual me encanta porque yo colecciono barbies y soy muy seguidora de sus películas, yo soy muy retraída para socializar, pero él fue bastante amable y divertido, eso me gustó mucho porque me imagino que vio, así como tímida XD jaja entonces se comportó muy divertido y pues tengo mi foto y su autógrafo, así como también el de Taryn.
I also met the actor who gives the voice in Spanish to SpongeBob, he is also the one who gives the voice to Ken in the classic Barbie movies, which I love because I collect Barbies and I am a big fan of their movies, I am very withdrawn. to socialize, but he was quite friendly and funny, I liked that a lot because I imagine he saw, as well as shy XD haha then he behaved very funny and well I have my photo and his autograph, as well as Taryn's.
Espero que les haya gustado el post y esta pequeña desventura que tuve en el proceso para hacer este cosplay pero al final me gusto mucho y es uno de los trajes nuevos que mas me gusta, ya tengo mi lista de cosplays por hacer este 2024 así que espero que las cosas se den y pueda hacerlos todos y claro traerlos y enseñarlos por aquí.
El post esta algo largo tal vez pero no me gusta mucho la idea de hacer post tipo "primera y segunda parte" a mi me gusta echar el chisme completo jeje, gracias por leer <3
