Never Rarely Sometimes Always (2020): a teen abortion drama | un drama sobre el aborto adolescente

To go to New York you need time and money. Money for the bus ticket, for food, for any unforeseen event that may arise, so Skylar (Ryder), Autumn's cousin who also works as a cashier at the supermarket and who's a few years older, resolves the issue of money and decides accompany her to the big apple. With one suitcase for both of them, they wake up early and head to a huge city they don't know, with the address of a clinic written down on a piece of paper and hoping to finish as soon as possible to return home. But things are not so simple. It's true that abortion is legal, that it's not the taboo that it was a few decades ago and that there are clinics where a teenager can have an abortion without needing her parents' permission, but in Autumn's case, having an abortion is not like pulling a tooth. When she arrives at the clinic she finds out that her pregnancy is further along than she thought and that makes the procedure take longer. The girls must spend the night in an unknown city, without money and without knowing anyone. That is the central drama of the film, the time dilation that occurs from the moment Autumn makes the decision to have an abortion until she finally gets it done. You need to be firm in your decisions and be very brave to carry out an action like that when you have many things against you and a sea of doubts and fears fluttering in your head.

Ser Criston Cole The Naughty Tongue of House of The Dragon Review with Spoilers

Leaving all the above, I like everything that happens around these two characters and their chemistry that I see is high, if a point to criticize is in the actor Fabien Frankel because he keeps the same look for everything and the spectrum of sensations to be transmitted has to work it more, Fortunately his partner is Olivia Cooke who is a beautiful woman and knows how to use her look, she takes advantage of the whole spectrum of feelings and transmits them very well as her physical desire for Ser Criston Cole, she slaps him twice but we all know that those slaps are weak because her body asks for sex.

Let's talk about the prequel "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes"

In this movie called Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes we have the story of President Snow, how he became who he was, although they don't show us exactly how he became president, they do show us other very important things about his life when he was young. Coriolanus Snow was a child who suffered a lot because of the war between the districts and when he grew up he focused on climbing in power, he lived in the Capitol and studied to stand out in order to reach a fairly high position in society. It is there when the tenth hunger games arrive that everything becomes a bit more chaotic so to speak. It is when the mentors are introduced for the first time in order for them to win a very important prize and it is Snow's turn to mentor Lucy Gray Baird, who won this year's games thanks to Coryo's help. But Snow wanted to succeed, so he was sent to be a peace officer as a punishment.

How To Murder your Husband - The Nancy Brophy Story

So it is not only money, it also has a lot to do with the frustration of not being able to achieve professional recognition, feeling that her career does not bear the fruits for which she has worked and receiving criticism for her stories without a coherent sense, she feels dissatisfied with her life and dreams that it would be different but without risking anything, believing herself capable of imagining and capturing on a sheet a supposed murder, where she explains the motive, how and where to commit the crime, in the same way she is able to carry it out without being discovered. The only thing that this story teaches us is that it is not the same to imagine than to execute, it is necessary not only to have imagination but also a criminal mind.

🎥My review about Coraline | Mi reseña sobre Coraline 🎬

Something that also contributes to that "uncanny" feeling is the stop motion animation, since the movements are not completely natural, so it makes you feel like something is not quite "right". This is my favorite type of animation because I think the result is great and the work behind it is incredible. Managing to make each frame fit perfectly to achieve a fluid sequence of images, making all the figures and elements used at scale size... Simply impressive.

"Regeneration": Entre la verdad y la mentira 🍿

What I liked about this series is the fact that it shows us how the choices each character made led them to commit unnecessary and illegal actions. It makes us see that the protagonist was the architect of his own destruction and that what he and the others experienced was nothing more than the result of their own choices. While some didn't like the ending, I did. I was even saddened to see how miserable and empty he was, how he wasted his life on unnecessary revenge and fell into a spiral of lies ever since.

    Imaginary Friends (IF) | Review

One of the things that caused me a great impact and perhaps many have gone through it, is the theme of imaginary friends that one imagines as a child, either to play, to talk, laugh and even to tell things that in the end everything is the child's imagination, where studies have come out that may be normal. Where this time the presence of these imaginary friends, gives a great impulse to this girl to bring out that creative side and be happy, even though her father is not having a good time, shows that great relationship that is created between the girl and the imaginary friend, highlighting that age does not matter to do what one likes the most and in this case to play.

    1923 | Serie Review

In the last few episodes, one of the powerful antagonists, consumes minutes of screen time, with really unnecessary scenes. Suddenly he is shown as a sadist with some sexual perversions. I don't understand the need to show that, to make him look like a really bad guy? His motivations are already money and power, those scenes with the prostitutes seem unnecessary and add nothing.
