I'm most likely kicking myself in the butt here with talking about this but I wanted to talk about my battle strats. While they might not be the best around they have given me around a 55% win rate which is most likely rather normal.
These strats will not skyrocket you into champs or anything like that but they will at least give you a general understanding of how to play most battles and the most common stats I look at. Also these things are constantly changing and it depends on what cards you have.
For myself my most amount of wins end up coming from Fire aka Melee. But there's going to be often other battles which Melee just inset an option. I normally end up playing water next as life and death splinters always seem to fail me or at least it feels that way.
A Random Water Battle
These battles tend to not go well for me and this is just another example of it lol. Now another important thing to note here is that leveling up your cards will ALWAYS now be extremely helpful. This is because you can play your max level cards (as long as you have a max level summoner) in battles no matter what tier you're currently in. So if your starting low with max level cards you'll most likely have a better chance of locking in those wins.
A Random Fire Battle
Now in this basic fire battle you can see my most common line up. While some of these cards will change the overall idea is always the same and it seems to play out rather well. My front line card is always a tank something that can take a beating and doesn't hurt if it can pack a little punch itself. It's normally my most expensive mana card. After that comes backup which is either sneak or range but preferred melee sneak as with my summoner it will get a extra melee damage on top of it.
While the front line holds strong and battles it out a bit the melee sneak will hit from the back while the ranged are often random.
You'll also notice I always play that zero mana card in the back and that's mainly to just take a single hit in the backline to protect my line. It's not a lot but it does help in keeping the backline alive just a little longer.
Now the only time I really change this would be if earthquake was part of the battle set. At that point I put a healer at the front and then as many melee flying NFT cards as I can behind them. The idea here is to survive earthquake while steal dishing out some damage so any ground unit cards the enemy has will be eaten up from earthquake.
Do you enjoy playing fire splinter?
