Beachcombing With The Reflections

in voilk •  5 months ago

It was a fine cold morning and the intertidal zone is visible due to low tide. I immediately went home to fetch my wife so we can have a stroll along the exposed portion of the sea.

As we took some selfies, I noticed that our reflection was casted clearly on the water so I grabbed that time to hunt for more reflection as I found out that the situation is so favorable for me to do so. I made several walks until I found this structure with its reflection that is almost intact on the calm surface of the water.

I continued to walk in the water as I can sense that there are still other subjects that awaits along the beach.

The reflections are so mesmerizing as they can be vividly seen from the water as if the world is being duplicated. Though sometimes the reflection looks pale, still, every detail can be seen.

I walked further until I reached the spot fronting the Reefhouse Resorts and made some quick snap at the hotel premises.
Then slowly inched my way to where I started the reflection hunt, capturing every detail I saw as I walked sluggishly on the water.

As I walked, I capture every detail I saw on this location and varied my point of view for a more detailed shot.

The results amazes me as the water remains undisturbed by the wind which give an almost intact reflection shot.

The beauty of the seascape is very well detailed in the reflection as they are full of wonder that gives a relaxing impression of calmness.

Every snap has its own beauty to be told through the lens as the reflections are so captivatingly magical to behold.

Then I shifted my subject to the sea and I spotted a cloud that have a vivid reflection on the water.

I also saw a lone beachcomber passed by and I did not hesitated to take a shot.

Then I noticed that my wife cast a lovely reflection as she look for shellfish and other edible marine creature along the shallow sea.
So I did not wasted a time to take a few clicks of her looking and picking up edible stuff and I do it stealthily to add more essence of impromptu to the scene.

I took several shots as I want to capture every detail of the scene along with the reflection as its my first time to take a picture of a moving subject along with its reflection.

Then here it goes! Almost in secuence as she scan her eyes at the exposed sea floor.

After we are done and the wind begins to become unruly, we packed our gears and go home. This is my humble share for this week's Reflection Hunter Contest #153 hosted by Ms. @olgavita. Goodluck to all the participants and happy Monday everyone!
