Les quiero contar un poco de lo que ha sido esta nueva aventura que he emprendido en compañía de mi amiga y compañera Elieska. Desde hace un mes les he estado compartiendo en mi blog todo lo que fue el "detrás de cámara" para llevar a cabo de nuestro evento Convinarte, pero hoy voy a hablarles un poco más a fondo de que trata y como surge la idea.
Convinarte es un evento social que involucra música, arte y vino. Es un taller de pintura en el que las personas van a disfrutar de música en vivo, un buen vino y mientras tanto se encargan de pintar una obra de arte. Todo con la guía de mi persona, que soy la profesora de pintura que los ayuda a lograr un resultado ideal.
Desde hace un tiempo venía viendo en redes este tipo de actividad y me pareció súper chévere la idea. Un día hablando con Elieska me comentó la idea, a lo que respondo: "Yo también lo he visto y me gustaría hacerlo".
Así que unimos fuerzas y nos aventuramos a hacer nuestro primer evento, con mucho miedo, pero al mismo tiempo con muchas ganas. No teníamos idea de como nos iba a ir pero había que aventurar.

I want to tell you a little bit about this new adventure that I have undertaken with my friend and partner Elieska. For the past month I have been sharing on my blog everything that went "behind the scenes" to carry out our event Convinarte, but today I'm going to tell you a little more in depth what it's about and how the idea came about.
Convinarte is a social event that involves music, art and wine. It is a painting workshop in which people will enjoy live music, a good wine and in the meantime they are in charge of painting a work of art. All with the guidance of my person, who is the painting teacher that helps them to achieve an ideal result.
For some time I had been seeing this type of activity in networks and I thought the idea was super cool. One day I was talking to Elieska and she told me about the idea, to which I replied: "I've seen it too and I would like to do it".
So we joined forces and ventured to make our first event, with a lot of fear, but at the same time with a lot of desire. We had no idea how it was going to go but we had to take the risk.
Al principio no teníamos un nombre para el evento, así que comenzamos a darle promoción como un "Taller de Arte y Vino". Esto nos trajo problemas con una empresa que trabaja con este tipo de eventos.
Nos escribieron para hacernos saber que no podíamos usar ese nombre para nuestro evento, ni tampoco el juego de palabras "Arte y vino" para nombrarlo. De hacerlo tomarían medidas legales.
Fue entonces cuando surge el nombre Convinarte, que combina a la perfección las 3 palabras que identifican la actividad.
Entre Elieska, su mamá y yo comenzamos a dar ideas para el logo y luego yo fui la encargada de hacerlo realidad. Luego les cuento un poco como fue todo el proceso creativo para lograrlo.
At first we didn't have a name for the event, so we started promoting it as an "Art and Wine Workshop". This got us into trouble with a company that works with these types of events.
They wrote us to let us know that we could not use that name for our event, nor could we use the pun "Art and Wine" to name it. If we did, they would take legal action.
It was then when the name Convinarte was born, which perfectly combines the 3 words that identify the activity.
Elieska, her mom and I started to come up with ideas for the logo and then I was in charge of making it happen. Then I tell you a little bit about the creative process to achieve it.
Por fortuna y gracias al apoyo de varias empresas y patrocinantes, logramos adquirir los materiales necesarios y también recibimos apoyo con degustaciones para entregarle a los participantes de ese día.
También se nos ocurrió hacer unos recuerditos para los participantes del evento, compramos unas moneditas de chocolate para hacerles un pequeño detalle.
Llegado el gran día me fui desde la mañana a casa de Elieska para preparar todo, allá teníamos todos los materiales necesarios y yo me llevé otros que tenía por acá.
Montamos todo en el carro de una tía que nos llevaría al centro comercial y salimos a buscar un caballete que nos iba a prestar un conocido artista que también formaría parte del evento.
Fortunately and thanks to the support of several companies and sponsors, we were able to acquire the necessary materials and we also received support with tastings to give to the participants of that day.
We also had the idea of making some souvenirs for the participants of the event, we bought some chocolate coins to give them a little gift.
When the big day arrived I went to Elieska's house in the morning to prepare everything, there we had all the necessary materials and I took others that I had here.
We put everything in the car of an aunt who would take us to the mall and we went out to look for an easel that we were going to borrow from a well-known artist who would also be part of the event.
Al principio íbamos súper apretados porque era un carro pequeño y luego cuando nos tocó meter el caballete quedamos peor 😂. Yo tenía la cabeza literal aplastada por el caballete.
At first we were super tight because it was a small car and then when we had to put the stand we were worse 😂. I had my head literally crushed by the stand.
No contamos con cajas especiales para guardar nuestras cosas así que todo se veía bastante desordenado. Al llegar al centro comercial nos tocó esperar un poco a que nos abrieran el local donde íbamos a hacer el evento. Aprovechamos de tomarnos una foto para recordar el inicio de este gran día. ♥
We didn't have special boxes to store our things so everything looked pretty messy. When we arrived at the mall we had to wait a little while for them to open the place where we were going to do the event. We took the opportunity to take a picture to remember the beginning of this great day. ♥
Mi hijo estuvo haciéndome compañía durante el evento. Esto me gustó mucho porque así puede ver en primera fila como su mamá trabaja duro para lograr sus metas. También nos ayudó mucho a organizar y movilizar las cosas. Fue genial poder compartir esto con él ♥.
Luego de organizar las mesas llegó el músico que contratamos, un saxofonista reconocido de la ciudad. Esto es un cuento bien chistoso que ya luego les compartiré.
Ya los materiales estaban listos, los caballetes y los lienzos en la mesa, era momento de comenzar!

My son was keeping me company during the event. I really liked this because he can see first hand how his mom works hard to achieve her goals. It also helped us a lot to organize and mobilize things. It was great to be able to share this with him ♥.
After setting up the tables, the musician we hired, a well-known saxophonist in town, arrived. This is a funny story that I will share with you later.
The materials were ready, the easels and canvases on the table, it was time to start!
