One of the things I have seen is that when the piece dries, the color tends to darken a little, so it is better not to overdo it with the color because it will always go up in tone. The other variant that I have been able to appreciate is that the size of the piece shrinks, it is barely perceptible, it is as if the piece dehydrates a little and that is why its size is reduced. Antes de entrar en detalles del proceso de elaboración de estos aretes quiero compartirles algunas pequeñas observaciones acerca del comportamiento del porcelanicron. Una de las cosas que he visto es que al secar la pieza, el color tiende a oscurecer un poco, por eso es mejor no sobrepasarse con el color pues siempre subirá de tono. La otra variante que he podido apreciar es que el tamaño de la pieza se contrae, es apenas perceptible, es como si la pieza se deshidra un poco y por eso se reduce su tamaño. Por eso también es necesario tomar precauciones al respecto para tener una pieza del tamaño y color que deseamos. Ahora sí, vamos al proceso.

Once the porcelain is dyed, we are going to elaborate the base of the earrings. I'm going to work with hooks and ring pins. Then I take a small ball of green porcelain and cut it in half. The ball should not measure more than one centimeter and when cut we form two new balls, flatten with a smooth top and insert a green crystal through the pin and then pass the pin through the center of the green dough disk. It is important to leave it the right thickness so that the pin does not show through. In case this happens, we assemble the flower in the part where the small imperfection is noticed because it will be completely hidden once we assemble the flower.

Una vez teñida la porcelana, vamos a elaborar la base de los aretes. Voy a trabajar con anzuelos y alfileres de argolla. Entonces tomo una bolita de porcelana verde y la corto a la mitad. La bola no debe medir más de un centímetro y al cortarla formamos dos nuevas bolitas, aplanamos con una tapa lisa e introducimos un cristal verde por el alfiler y luego pasamos el alfiler por el centro del disco de masa verde. Es importante dejarlo del grosor adecuado para que no se vea el alfiler. En caso de que esto ocurra, armamos la flor en la parte donde se nota la pequeña imperfección pues quedará completamente oculta una vez que armemos la flor.

Una vez lista la primera vuelta que consta de nueve pétalos, vamos con la segunda vuelta que son cinco pétalos. Ahora es el turno de elaborar el centro de la flor. Con una pequeña bolita de porcelana marrón, debe tener unos 5 milímetros aproximadamente, la cortamos a la mitad para obtener simetría en ambos aretes y lo colocamos en el centro del girasol.
