I'M PROUD OF MY JOB

Blockchain blogging is a full time job for some people while for some, it is a hobby.

Some persons are hyperactive and as such, they can not stay at home and make money from the comfort of their homes. Based on this, they tend to go out in search of jobs that goes in line with their personality.

My job is my pride and I love what I decided to do.

When chitchatting with some of my friends, they do complain of how boring their work is, so do sleep on their desk. I always give a weird smile (like the statue in solo leveling) when I hear this because Insomnia is the order of the day in my job. You'll look for sleep but you will find none.

What's this my job? you may ask..

    It's nursing.

No matter the stress it poses, I am happy and proud to save a life from the brink of death. Trust me, last office is a very sad procedure to carry out.

In life, humans have some enemies they fight hard against and these enemies are called germs.

A very very long time ago, germs attacked humans first because their world is at the verge of destruction and the only surviving place they have is the human body. Based on this, humans started manifesting some odd behaviors depending on the type of germ that attacked them. These off behavior is called signs and symptoms of the germ.

Humans drew a line of defence by bringing in heroes called doctors and these doctors stood and fought tirelessly, giving humanity hope once again.

Understanding the fact that humans needs tender loving care during these periods when they are attacked by the deadly germs, another hero called Florence Nightingale. She understood that the environment needs to be well taken care of to prevent the spread of the germs, and as such, she gave rise to modern nursing.

Nursing have worked harmoniously with the doctors in a base of operation called the hospital to fight and kill these germs that are hurting humans. They are always in the front lines and are at risk of many things but irrespective of the dangers posed by the germ and casualties faced by them, they have been committed to always save humanity and restore peace to the world.

I am proud to be one of the heroes who is at the front lines, fighting for humanity.

The importance of my job as a nurse reaches the ends of the world as I have to work side by side with the doctor to constantly save people who were attacked by the germs.

Being a nurse is something I aspire to be ever since I became an adolescent, however,if given a chance, I will never change my job. I love my job irrespective of the stress and the dangers it poses to my life.

Sometimes, I hear the attacked people called patients complain about the attitude of a nurse. I think I should say something about that here.

Yes, undoubtedly, some nurses are mean, no cap but let me ask you something, can I?

You worked 8 hours a day, sometimes 12 hours and most times more than our shift time, with minimal rest, caring for other people while forgetting yourself. Time for closure reached but you can't go home because you had an emergency that needs your presence and you ended up working extra hours. Finally, you go home then do your own biddings and before you could finish caring for yourself and family, time has gone, leaving you with about 3-6 hours of sleep every day.

You did something like this for one week straight before you reached your off days, but one patient who is always disturbing while you are attending to other patients, only for you to come to the patient amd discover that what they want you to do is something they Can comfortably do for themselves. This keeps on repeating itself for sometime. If you're the nurse, what will you do? Some of us a patient enough to accommodate such behavior but some are not.

Some have bad mouths due to the stress they are passing through and cannot control their temper while some are able to control their temper no matter the situation.

So, sometimes, you just have to empathize with a nurse as they too empathize with you. You will always be attended to, just that there are some people that the nurse is already attending to, and probably, their issues are bigger than yours. As a patient, you have to be patient.
