Bendecido inicio de mes querida familia de NeedleWorkMonday, espero que hayan tenido unas excelentes vacaciones de pascua. Sorprendentemente ya estamos en el mes número 4 de este año, los días están pasando demasiado rápido es por ello que debemos aprovecharlos al máximo.

Los días festivos me permitieron compartir con familiares y algunas amistades, además de tomar tiempo para descansar y reponer energías.

Blessed start to the month dear NeedleWorkMonday family, I hope you had a great Easter holiday. Surprisingly, we are already in month number 4 of this year, the days are passing too quickly, which is why we must make the most of them.
The holidays allowed me to spend time with family and some friends, in addition to taking time to rest and replenish energy.

El domingo por la tarde me dieron muchas ganas de tejer y ver series, quería cerrar la semana de la manera más relajada posible, así que se me ocurrió iniciar con un proyecto que había tenido en mente durante días. Se trata de un sonajero para bebés con diseño de conejito. Este sonajero lo elaboré para obsequiarle a la bebita de un compadre, quien tiene a penas 3 meses de nacida. Estuve pensando en varias opciones de regalo, pero finalmente me decidí por el sonajero. Elegí tejer una conejita porque me pareció lo más acorde para la bebita.

On Sunday afternoon I really wanted to knit and watch series, I wanted to close the week in the most relaxed way possible, so it occurred to me to start with a project that I had had in mind for days. This is a baby rattle with a bunny design. I made this rattle to give to a friend's baby girl, who is barely 3 months old. I was thinking about several gift options, but finally decided on the rattle. I chose to knit a bunny because it seemed the most appropriate for the baby.

Debo confesar que ese día no tenía ganas de ver ningún video tutorial, solo quería tejer mientras veía una buena serie, por lo que decidí arriesgarme y tejer solo con la imagen de referencia. Aunque no soy experta con los amigurumis, preferí dejarme llevar por mi instinto; ¿Qué tan mal podía salir, si eran piezas básicas? Pues bien, la cabeza se logró sin dificultad alguna. El problema surgió con las orejas, como lo hice de manera intuitiva, ambas orejas quedaron de diferente forma. No obstante, decidí seguir adelante y confiar en el proceso.

I must confess that that day I didn't feel like watching any video tutorials, I just wanted to knit while watching a good series, so I decided to take a risk and knit only with the reference image. Although I am not an expert with amigurumis, I preferred to go with my instinct; How bad could it go, if they were basic pieces? Well, the head was achieved without any difficulty. The problem arose with the ears, as I did intuitively, both ears turned out differently. However, I decided to move forward and trust the process.

Otra cosa que me afecta cuando quiero tejer sin patrones es que se me olvida ir tomando las fotos para luego compartirlas en la publicación. Esta vez pude tomar unas cuantas de las partes más relevantes del proceso. Hacer amigurumis es mucho más complejo que tejer prendas o carteras, se debe prestar mucha atención a los detalles por lo que no es muy buena idea tejerlos mientras miramos una película, eso me quedó claro. Mis proyectos favoritos para tejer sin patrón, mientras veo series o videos, son los que tienen patrones repetitivos como las mantas o manteles y algunos bolsos.

Another thing that affects me when I want to knit without patterns is that I forget to take photos and then share them in the publication. This time I was able to take a few of the most relevant parts of the process. Making amigurumis is much more complex than knitting clothes or bags, you must pay a lot of attention to the details so it is not a very good idea to knit them while watching a movie, that became clear to me. My favorite projects to knit without a pattern, while watching series or videos, are those with repetitive patterns such as blankets or tablecloths and some bags.

Hacer crochet para bebés me produce mucha ternura y despierta mi instinto maternal, seré muy feliz si Dios me concede la dicha de ser abuela en un futuro y poder tejer muchas cositas para mis nietos. Mientras tanto lo hago para los bebés de mis amistades, lo cual me da mucha alegría. El resultado final me pareció bastante aceptable, tomando en consideración que no me apegué a ningún patrón en especial.

Crocheting projects for babies makes me feel tenderness and awakens my maternal instinct. I will be very happy if God grants me the joy of being a grandmother in the future and being able to knit many things for my grandchildren. Meanwhile, I do it for my friends' babies, which gives me a lot of joy. The final result seemed quite acceptable to me, taking into consideration that I did not adhere to any particular pattern.
