    vegitarian are plant based food . 38 % of india population are vegitarians . 50 years ago 60 % are vegitarians but westen educated doctor have been telling you doen't eat meat you won't get nourishment, you have to Heat some meat. So because of that some meat has come in but still in India, meat- eating is not like how it's in the west. It is only a side dish even for non-vegetarian people, it's only a side dish. But achy vegetarianism is see if your survival is under threat, your entire life is about Survival. One survial is taken care of now you wonder what is with this all about?

    Nearly 70% of the country's population always actively spiritual. Because they realized that what eat matters. If want you become sensitive to life then what you put into the system became very important.

    If you eat raw meat for ex- in human system , compared to carnivorous animal they lenght of the alimentary canal is only three time the lenght of its body , the lenght of the alimentary canal is five to six time the lenght of body . So in a human being it could be anywhere between 24 - 28 or 30 feet , which is nearly five to six time the lenght of our body . In this kind of alimentary canal , if you put meat it will travel through very , very slowly approxmately raw meat would take 70 to 72 hours to pass through the system . If you put cooked meat , it will take 50 to 52 hours to pass through the system .

    If you put raw vegitable into the system it will take 12 to 15 hours through the system . If you put fruit it will take 1/2 to 3 hours to pass through the system . So , we started recognizing what is that food which happens in the body with least amount of residue , least amount of impurities and passes through the system very quickly .

    You will naturally notice vegetarian or plant - based food , body is most comfortable and is at ease , it has less to process on a daily basis .

    So ,naturally , those who observed the nature of their own bodies , natually become vegetarian . When survival was the quetion hunting and eating what ever you kill was a natural process . Then turning vegetarian will naturally become . It's a natually proces . It is bound to happen every where .

    So whether you eat a plant , or an animal or whatever , it is still violence . Only thing is they don't scream you don't hear that all

    There are three type of vegetarians .
    Vigan :- do not eat meat , fish or products come from animal , dairy products.
    Lacto - ovo - vegetarians :- Not eat or egg but do consume dairy product
    Lacto vegetarians :- Eat no meat , fish but do consume dairy product
    ovo vegetarians :- do eat egg but not eat fish , meat or daily product.

    People are becomig vegetarian for many reason , Including health . Many people are follow vegetarian because they can't afford to eat meat . Compared to eaters of vegetarian tend to consume less saturated fat and cholestrol and more vitamins C and vitamin E.

    some vegetarians also avoid product that use animal ingredients not included in the lable . For ex - suger , gelatain etc. Semi - vegetarianism is consumption of egg is not constiderd as vegetarian diet in india , as egg is an animal product . People some lable themselves "vegetarian" while eating egg ( semi - vegetarian ) in diet.
