Este es mi cuarto dibujo sobre el personaje Alice, que es una versión de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas pero oscura y trastornada por las cosas malas que le han sucedido de niña. Para mi a pesar de ser fan de ambas personajes, me gusta más Alice por ser más personal en su historia y en como un ser humano puede hasta llegar al limite de manera brusca y desgarradora ante tales situaciones.
This is my fourth drawing about the character Alice, which is a version of Alice in Wonderland but dark and disturbed by the bad things that have happened to her as a child. For me, despite being a fan of both characters, I like Alice more for being more personal in her story and how a human being can go to the limit in an abrupt and heartbreaking way in such situations.
Alice es un personaje que no necesita ser rescatada por nadie, es un personaje que quiere rescatarse a sí misma; buscando el como y como salir de tanto sufrimiento de su pasado y en como la tormenta por ello. Lastima que American Mcgee que fueron los directores y diseñadores del personaje, tuvieron que echar marcha atrás por culpa de la empresa de videojuegos EA, quienes rechazaron públicamente el desarrollo de una tercera entrega que iba ser una precuela entre los 2 juegos, y se titula así: Alice - Asylum. Nos íbamos adentrar en como Alice pasó una parte de su vida en el psiquiátrico, ya que en Madness Return nos muestra un fragmento más no sabemos que pasó exactamente en ese lugar con ella, aunque lo que si sabemos es que no fueron nada agradables.
Alice is a character that does not need to be rescued by anyone, is a character who wants to rescue herself; looking for the how and how to get out of so much suffering of her past and how the storm for it. I don't think American Mcgee is going to create other characters, I think he has the ability to continue and try to make a memorable character like Alice is, however the hard hit he received from EA's rejection made him retire from the video game industry as a developer. So, most likely we will never see more things about this great character Alice, still for those people who are fans like me, we will remember American Mgcee with his awesome ideas and innovation for this character.
