Hi, friends!
Irishman Joshua McErlean got a seat at M-Sport Ford with support of Motorsport Ireland and so far he is doing a good job, with some mistakes which are normal when entering into new car and category, but overall he showed potential for the job.
To be honest, I expected that their leading driver Gregoire Munster will be dominant but McErlean showed better pace on more then a few occasions and that is promising. He revealed recently that there was no pressure from the team and Motorsport Ireland as a backer, and that at Islas de Canarias Rally will be the same, but with strict order of finishing events.
He knows WRC Rally Portugal very good as he finished on the podium in WRC2 last year so he hopes that he will deliver better there.
Josh recently tested with his Ford Puma Rally1 ahead of WRC Islas de Canarias Rally and we have a video from the test. Please enjoy...
