Supporting Shoulders!

Firstly, I was busy during the EID festival. Secondly, when I got free, I found out that I was having a writer's block. Moreover, I did not do any mentionable things to write about those here. I wanted to read at least 5 books, but for various reasons, I was only able to read 2 and am currently reading the third one. My vacation is going to end soon, and I will not get time to read more books.

“One best book is equal to a hundred good friends, but one good friend is equal to a library.”
    APJ Abdul Kalam

Remembering, or rather encountering, this quote, I thought, why not write about the supporting shoulders I have?

I am a very fragile person. I consistently need shoulders to rely on. I am lucky that, throughout the course of my life, I have met some people whom I can trust. I can open myself up to them.

They are in different categories. From the class elite to the backbenchers, I have managed to cope with them.

These people, although they are small in number, can calm my disturbed mind. They can manage their time whenever I need them. And the conversations I have with them are also different.

With some, I talk about philosophical things; with some, I talk about anime-movie series; and with some, I talk about study materials.

With this guy, I can talk about study and politics. This person can comfort me about my future. Although he shows me how annoying I am by replying exactly as I do 😅.

This one can light up my mood, just like the image. Also, with him, I can talk about various unrelated topics. Once I texted him, we needed to talk. When we later met, he told me that he felt exactly what was going through my mind and how my emotions were!

Well, from my childhood, through many situations, I found out that the words 'friend' and 'friendship' do not mean anything to me. So, you may ask, who are these supporting shoulders? They are part of my souls, Oxygen I breath in. Without some people like them, I would have gone down the path of abyss.

I am grateful to them for tolerating me, and I wish to relieve them of my burden someday soon.
