En los hilos del tiempo
permanecen
las aves
habitantes del viento
y las aguas
serenas o procelosas
del vasto mar
Son los vigías
del cardumen
aposentados
en la quietud
de los mástiles
de las torres que atestiguan
los crepúsculos
Como monjes zen
aguardan
saborean el salitre
en sus picos y en sus alas
y anunciarán prontamente
en su vuelo
el ritual que alimenta
al mundo atávico
