At some point during last night Smackdown live segment, Iyo Sky gave an interview, and talking straight about Bayley she claimed to be tired of fans pitying her.
She had supposedly gotten some help from Bayley sometimes ago but now she’s fed up with her because she claims Bayley has started being a shame to WWE.
I actually couldn’t believe my eyes when I watched that. I mean, wrestlers have disagreements constantly, but this feels different.
This seems like a genuine expression of emotions by Sky. And then after the interview ended, Bayley just stormed in on her and they began fighting all over the place.
They did make it look real though, I’ll give them that much. The way they fought seemed like they were genuinely going for each other’s throats without holding back anything at all. They looked as if they were genuinely trying their best rather than putting on a façade for the cameras only.
You know what? That is admirable. It takes courage to do that sort of thing especially when you are really angry.
But also, it occurs to me that this might all be just a façade. I mean, isn’t wrestling primarily meant for entertainment?
So maybe this whole thing is just another storyline or an angle to keep us fans hooked. The fact remains, nonetheless, if that’s the case; I am surely intrigued.
However, I still feel a little torn. On one side, much as any other person would do; I adore an enthralling wrestling fight. However, if this is true and Sky does not like Bayley at all; then that means some serious trouble.
All the same though; this doesn’t really matter in the end whether it’s real or not real. It has people talking and engaged in it and isn’t that what wrestling is about?
Thus a work or shoot next time around will interest me as well because definitely: I know this feud is nowhere near over!
