We're into episode 3 now and there's a brief intermission as we wait for new missions. This is how the game introduces us to the side quests which in this case are split into two types: Combat Missions and Exploration Missions. The Combat Missions are straightforward. You load up into a room with enemies. Clear them out to win. I think they have conditions like beating the mission within a time limit. Exploration Missions give you that tv maze nonsense again. You have to explore pretty much. Usually the condition is to find 3 things but I so far haven't figured out when I actually do that lol. Just look at everything and then complete the mission.
The other side to this is the arcade. I'm not so sure about this one. It seems like it'll be important to an extent though which is worrying. Billy is a big fan so I'm not sure if we'll have to revisit it again to level up his Trust which is just like Persona's Social Links. I'm really worried if the later levels will require meeting a certain score to impress him. But even if that's not the case I've seen that some completion rewards require those scores so that's not going to pleasant. I'm not very good at Snake as you might imagine. And tbf I didn't sign up for Zenless to play retro games. Also also I've heard there are events that have you get into the arcade as well. I think one that's coming up will be a vs mode in a digging type game. The good thing is I think it's just like Windtrace in Genshin where you get the rewards for participating enough times. If you win you get more points so you can play less times but if you can't win like I'm likely going to deal with then it's just a matter of playing more rounds.
