They say "He who plants a tree, plants a hope". The hope of eating its fruits or probably enjoying its shade during the hot sun. But for whom? Because the one who plants a tree rarely gets its fruits. And for this Rabindranath Tagore ji has once said “The one who plants trees knowing that he or she will never sit in their shade, has at least started to understand the meaning of life.”
The picture shown above was taken while on our way to Shimla. In which you can see a tree on the edge of a mountain. People spend relaxing moments sitting in its shade. And down this mountain, on some flat part of another mountain, you can see a village and the villagers' fields. When the bus stopped at this place for some time, this view immediately stuck in my mind.
Sitting here for some time in the shade of this tree and looking at this village nestled in the lap of the mountain was so comfortable and relaxing that after a few minutes, I started feeling fully refreshed.
