Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
The Valheim Elder
Well there is no doubt that after this episode you'd believe me if I told you that I was beaten bloody by that damned Elder!
Although in everyone's defence but my own! I wasn't really prepared for what I ran into, at-least I thought I was but really I was too blinded by excitement to see what I was missing!
To put things short I did die trying to kill the elder and now I have a whole set of other problems, such as having to head back to retrieve my body and all of my gear and well... to kill "The Elder" for final!
I'm actually glad that I went through this so that I can show everyone how much of a mission it is to retrieve something lost and you're a fresh spawn again!
Oh damned! I hope my boat is still floating! At the time of writing this up a week has passed since my last play!
The Standing Of Things.
So before I re-embarked on this journey that would soon lead to a fight to the death, I went to check up on the boat, I didn't want it broken at all. It would mean that I would need to build a new on this island and that wasn't a keen plan for me.
I put down a mini workbench station to be able to fix up the boat whenever and then I also stashed some stuff in the boat while I was at it!
The Sacrifice.
Well that was the easiest thing about all of this! Really, I didn't even put that much effort into finding theses "Ancient Seeds" that I needed for the sacrifice!
It had some stunning visuals displayed here! It's such a shame that I was plotting a nice twist to place some campfire's where "The Elder" will spawn in, that did more damage than I thought it would! Laughs, even though the entire thing was a failure!
The Fight Ensues!
Right from the moment "The Elder" spawned in it has been a chaotic battlefield, it was both harder than I thought it would be and easier than I thought it would be!
Until I realized that even though I had more than a sufficient supply of arrows the strength of my bow would never have lasted and neither did it!
A catastrophe of sorts!
A problem that I had to find a solution for without leaving and that was impossible, Not without canceling "The Elder."
I don't see it as a bad thing at all, I see it as a learning curve and one that I shall come back stronger and richer from!
Till My Dying Breath!
Of-course I wasn't going to quit off and run away just like that! No No!
Where's the pride in that?
I did do a very good job of things by placing campfires all around and everywhere "The Elder" treaded. Well that was until I ran out of stone! Then things got a bit much, I had to try mining and clearing out the old camp fires while keeping both "The Elder" and his children spawn off me, it was just too much!
Eventually fatigued consumed me and they struck me down, as I lay there face down in the mud I realized I'm in Valheim! The place even the Gods fear!
A Fresh Start.
Well now I actually get to have that fresh start! Laughs! The one I never got coming back to Valheim!
This is where the fun starts! Now I get to show everyone what a grind it can be if you die in some old begotten forest on the edge of the world! I will have to do some heavy cutting and grinding once I get back to camp!
Remember To Keep On Gaming Like You've Only Got One Life Left!
Apologies.
I was doing a commentary recording but it seems I never unmuted my microphone, ah what a shame! Laughs!
