Hello, Hive Open Mic Community. A happy weekend to you all. It's so great to be back again for this week 203 with the theme "Memories" brought to us by recent spotlight artist @oluwadarey. I will be presenting a song by Ed Sheeran titled "Photograph"
It's a song about reminiscing on memories created with our loved ones, and also capturing important moments in our lives to serve as a reminder of the love shared between two people. When growing up there were people I met who meant so much to me, but somehow I lost contact with them, some are no more, some we just separated, some hurt me and some I am still in touch with.
Despite all these experiences, thinking about the memories I had with them evolves a range of emotions inside me. The sweet and happy memories put a smile on my face, making me want to go back to those joyful times. The sad memories leave me wishing things could have been different, wishing things had been better. I am sure it happens to you too but memories are meant to be cherished, so we should seize every opportunity to make happy and positive memories so we won't have regrets.
