In the bible there is what is called vow,
A vow is done voluntarily and not a must,
If a man swears an oath unto the lord ,he shall not break it but rather do all that proceedeth according to his mouth.
Once we vow or take an oath unto the lord we shall not break it
It is better thou don't vow than to vow and not pay ,for it has no pleasure in fools.
A vow come from which means you are the one binding yourself in it.
Making a vow is done voluntarily by you and is not obligated by God.
In a vow you are the one imposing obligation on yourself.
When you make a vow unto the lord and break it, that means you do not have the fear of God because if you have fear of God you will not break you vow with him.
Apostle Paul Made a vow in the bible and he shaved his hairs.
You can vow not to go to party again is a vow ,here you bond your soul not to do it again
