- Hola amigos, espero estén pasando una fantástica semana... Una de las comidas que más disfruta mi mamá es la parrilla mixta, en ésta oportunidad compartiré con ustedes un día MUY especial junto a mi madre y mi hija @vero10h. Le había comentado a mi hija que en caracas no habíamos tenido suerte de encontrar un buen lugar donde pudieramos disfrutar de una carne jugosa y blanda... hace años teníamos la costumbre de reunirnos todos los fines de semana en familia, el punto de encuentro era mi casa, mis tíos que vivían con nosotros se encargaban de realizar las compras de la carne, el pollo y los ingredientes para las ensaladas, desde que ellos fallecieron se perdió esa linda costumbre, quizás porque era algo que nos producía mucha tristeza, ya que fue una costumbre que se repitió durante muchos años. He tenido la oportunidad de llevar a mi mamá para que disfrute una parrilla, pero siempre salimos incorformes. Mi hija me comentó que había visitado muchas veces éste restaurante y que su experiencia había sido perfecta. Salimos temprano en la mañana para realizar algunas compras en el centro Comercial La Vela, cuando nos disponíamos a irnos a la casa, mi hija se estacionó frente a éste local y nos dio la buena noticia de que nos invitaría a disfrutar de la parrilla que tanto deseaba degustar mi mamá. Pedimos una parrilla mixta con carne y pollo, de acompañamiento pedimos unas hallaquitas de maíz dulce y otras de chicharrón, la verdad que estaban muy exquisitas. Nos sirvieron guasacaca y una salsa un poco picantosa. Cuando mi mamá dio su primer bocado a la carne sabía que mi hija había acertado, ya que era tan blanda que se deshacía en la boca. También nos sirvieron una ración de chorizo y morcilla. Mientras disfrutábamos viendo la felicidad dibujada en el rostro de mi mamá, recordamos hermosas anécdotas junto a mis tíos, fue maravilloso poder recordarlos en ese momento tan especial, en donde compartíamos de un delicioso almuerzo y en donde nos sentíamos inmensamente agradecidas por haber formado parte de una familia tan amorosa, en donde crecimos rodeadas de muchas demostraciones de afecto y amor... One of the meals that my mom enjoys the most is the mixed grill, this time I will share with you a VERY special day with my mother and my daughter @vero10h. I had told my daughter that in Caracas we had not been lucky to find a good place where we could enjoy juicy and tender meat... years ago we had the habit of getting together every weekend as a family, the meeting point was my house, my uncles who lived with us were in charge of shopping for meat, chicken and ingredients for salads, since they passed away that nice custom was lost, perhaps because it was something that made us very sad, as it was a custom that was repeated for many years. I have had the opportunity to take my mom to enjoy a barbecue, but we always leave dissatisfied. My daughter told me that she had visited this restaurant many times and that her experience had been perfect. We left early in the morning to do some shopping at La Vela Mall, when we were about to go home, my daughter parked in front of this place and gave us the good news that she would invite us to enjoy the grill that my mom wanted to taste so much. We ordered a mixed grill with meat and chicken, and as a side dish we ordered some sweet corn hallaquitas and some chicharrón hallaquitas, which were really delicious. We were served guasacaca and a slightly spicy sauce. When my mom took her first bite of the meat I knew my daughter had guessed right, as it was so soft that it melted in her mouth. We were also served a portion of chorizo and blood sausage. While we enjoyed watching the happiness drawn on my mom's face, we remembered beautiful anecdotes with my uncles, it was wonderful to remember them in that special moment, where we shared a delicious lunch and where we felt immensely grateful for having been part of such a loving family, where we grew up surrounded by many demonstrations of affection and love ...
