It's International Civil Defense Day Today, and it's a day set aside every year( 1st March) to celebrate this special set of security agents working to promote civil protection.
Today, representatives of the delegations of International civil defense corps, member countries and UN ambassadors in Geneva, Switzerland( Headquarters) gathered to celebrate International Civil Defense Day.

These set of people are recognized for mitigating disasters in emergencies and protecting lives in the community. This day also honored the contributions of heroes who have saved lives and properties.

NSCDC is a Nigerian Para-millitary institution created in the year 2003. This institution since then has been saddled with the responsibility of providing safety measures from attacks or threats against the nation or it's citizens.

Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in my state Akwa Ibom State wasn't left out in the celebration today as it served as a triple celebration for them today.
Firstly the anniversary of the International Civil Defense Corps, seconded by the groundbreaking and launching of the New land and modeled infrastructure, and lastly the Passing Out parade of the newly recruited members of the force.

It was a great feast for them today and dignitaries all over the country flew in to grace the occasion and feed their eyes.
The parade was a beautiful sight and you could tell that these people have been through rigorous training for Months just to come out and prove themselves in that gracious way.
Both male and female performed excellently and till the close no force Man fell out despite the deadly sun today.
