    Halo ASEAN Buddies...

A few weeks ago I accidentally found a book bazaar near my house. It just so happened that there was a publisher near my house so when I was traveling I would definitely pass through this area. I was really excited when I found out that it was a book bazaar event. So, after having a lot of time I stopped by the event.

This Book Bazaar is called Semesta Buku (Universe of Book) which is held by a publishing company called Kompas Gramedia. It is predictable that there will be many books at this event. I intended to open a consignment service, but it seems that it will not work because there are so many books there, I can't handle them. So I just look for books that are suitable to be my reference material in writing.

It was already evening when I arrived there and people were already crowding each box. I kept walking from one box to another and found many books that were indeed familiar. I also found books from my author friends. However, I was shocked to find out that the prices of offstore books are now so expensive. When I calculated it, after adding the discount, it was still quite expensive, so I decided not to buy one of the books from the authors I knew.

I moved on to other boxes of books in the hope of finding the right book, but I couldn't find it either. Going around box after box was fun but the fun subsided when I found out the price of the book was still not within my budget to buy books.

In one month, I only have a budget of under IDR 100K for 1 book. So, the books there couldn't make me excited to take them home.

Even so, I continued strolling around the bazaar until I found this part. Apparently, Pramoedya Ananta Toer has been working for a century. That's amazing.

I haven't visited a book bazaar for a long time because of lack of information and sometimes the bazaar is held when I have a work schedule so I always miss it. After seeing books in offline stores for so long, I feel like I just felt a culture shock because the price of books is so expensive now. I used to sell books from bazaars, now it seems better to find out for yourself from online bookstores than buying directly at the bazaar.

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
