Espero que todos estén bien y disfruten de su fin de semana. Aquí en la casa nos ha tocado la semana de trabajo con el reto de remodelación porque a @rlathulerie se le ocurrió pintar nuestro cuarto y eso fue todo un problema, pero más por culpa de nosotros porque no tomamos en cuenta algunas cosas como el tamaño del cuarto, los colores, además de un dicho de los abuelos que dice "lo barato sale caro" y ya van a ver por qué lo digo.
Como la situación no está para gastar, uno trata siempre de ahorrar, pero ya comprobamos que ese ahorro no es para todo y que hay que analizar un poco y buscar distintas opciones y reseñas, porque al final terminamos gastando más. En este caso nos pasó con la pintura de las paredes, porque decidimos pintar el cuarto, pero no de los mismos colores que ya teníamos, que eso hubiese sido más fácil y más barato, pero ya el cuarto tenía mucho tiempo así y lo quisimos cambiar.
El cuarto tenía blanco arena en 3 paredes y en una color marrón, pensamos que con el claro con una blanca se tapaba fácil y para ahorrar compramos una barata, 5$ (🤣 eso nos debió hacer dudar), pero según que cubría bien y como el color base era claro se suponía no había problemas, pero sí hubo. La pintura era mala, tanto que después de dos manos seguía viéndose el color de abajo y queríamos que se viera blanca para que combinara con el gris, aparte alcanzó solo para la parte de abajo.
Así que había que comprar más pintura porque todo estaba a la mitad y ahí si estuvimos investigando bien para comprar una que fuese buena y compramos la marca Regional tipo B porque como era para interior me dijeron que estaba bien y así fue con una mano se pudo pintar todo lo blanco y tampoco fue una pintura muy cara, costó 10$.
Después que se pintó lo blanco, tocaba la pared marrón y probamos la gris y nada, eso no cubría nada, yo creo que ni echando todo el galón a esa sola pared se iba a tapar y como habia quedado pintura blanca le puse una capa y así si con dos manos de gris la pared quedó bien, pero perdimos tiempo y dinero.
Por eso bueno antes de hacer un gasto pensar bien si vale la pena el ahorro porque con lo que se gastó en las dos pinturas blancas hubiésemos comprado una tipo "A" blanca que seguro si cubría con una mano y hubiésemos terminado más rápido aunque se hubiese gastado un poco más.
Por lo menos ya para la próxima nos queda la experiencia y no vamos a comprar solo pensando en ahorrar sin analizar nada, porque es verdad que hay cosas en las que podemos ahorrar, pero creo que con esto no, es mejor reunir el dinero y comprar una buena.

Here at home we've had our work week with the remodeling challenge because @rlathulerie came up with the idea of painting our room and that was quite a problem, but more our fault because we didn't take into account some things like the size of the room, the colors, plus a saying from grandparents that says "cheap things get expensive " and you'll see why I say that.
As the situation is not to spend, one always tries to save, but we have already proved that saving is not for everything and that we have to analyze a little and look for different options and reviews, because in the end we end up spending more. In this case it happened to us with the painting of the walls, because we decided to paint the room, but not the same colors we already had, that would have been easier and cheaper, but the room had been like that for a long time and we wanted to change it.
The room had sand white in 3 walls and in one brown color, we thought that with the clear one with a white one it was easy to cover it and to save money we bought a cheap one, 5$ (🤣 that must have made us doubt), but according to that it covered well and as the base color was clear there were supposed to be no problems, but there were. The paint was bad, so much so that after two coats you could still see the color underneath and we wanted it to look white to match the gray, other than that it reached only for the bottom.
So we had to buy more paint because everything was half and there if we were researching well to buy one that was good and we bought the Regional brand type B because as it was for interior I was told it was fine and so it was with one coat we could paint all the white and it was not a very expensive paint, it cost $10.
After the white was painted, the brown wall was touching and we tried the gray and nothing, it did not cover anything, I think that not even pouring the whole gallon to that single wall was going to cover it and as there was still white paint I put a coat and so with two coats of gray the wall was fine, but we lost time and money.
So before making an expense think well if it is worth the savings because with what was spent on the two white paints we would have bought a white type "A" that surely would have covered with one coat and we would have finished faster although we would have spent a little more.
At least for the next time we have the experience and we will not buy only thinking about saving without analyzing anything, because it is true that there are things in which we can save, but I think not with this, it is better to gather the money and buy a good one.
