Hello dear friends, here we are again with you participating in another one of the many fun initiatives of our favorite community Cinnamon Cup Coffee.
Most of the cafeterias have a pleasant atmosphere, they are usually beautifully decorated and their employees are very friendly.
Now, for me it is a nice place to work, because as I said, most of them offer a musical environment with low volume and beautiful decoration.
But some years ago, when I was still active in my work, I passed by a cafeteria in Caracas/Capital of Venezuela and as I had a pending work to deliver (psycho-pedagogical reports), I decided to enter and do them there.
When I went in I loved it, a cool place with a nice background music, I went to the last table to be more relaxed and ordered a large latte. I took out my folders and started writing one of the reports.
I had not finished the first report when I was approached by a young man who introduced himself as the manager of the cafeteria named José Ignacio (I will never forget that name), to tell me that I could not do any work at the table, that it was forbidden.
I was very surprised, I apologized to him and asked him why, he answered me that this place was purely to serve people who wanted to consume what they offer to consumers (coffee, cookies, candies, juices, etc.) and it was not convenient to have a table occupied with work papers, while other people needed it for the purpose it was created for.
With much embarrassment I picked up my folders, (I felt the gaze of each of the people who were in the place), canceled the bill and left. But I never more to do any kind of long work in a cafeteria, although I am almost sure that there are others that allow it as long as you are consuming what they offer, but the truth is that I have not tried it again.
After that unpleasant experience, I go to coffee shops alone to enjoy a delicious coffee, usually accompanied by any snack that provokes me, I love to spend that time alone or in company in one of those beautiful coffee shops.
So much for my participation in this new initiative led by our beautiful people of the Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community. All photos are my own, taken from my Tecno Pova Neo cell phone.
