“Succesful people don’t just drift off to the top. Getting there requires focused action, personal discipline and lots of energy every day to make things happen.” - Jack Canfield

Habits are an important part of our life. Keeping a good habits always enrich us with some positive energy. This helps in maintaing a mindful life. Habits always shape our behaviors, attitudes. Ultimately, following them on regular basis ends up in making good human being. Habits are small, powerful actions that we repeat on a daily basis.

    • Getting enough sleep consistently is important for your health and happiness

    • Doing physical workout for atleast 15 minutes in a day helps us to stay fit.

    • Eating balanced diet and avoiding junk food keep the body in good shape.

    Breaking up with Phone

Apart from the above mentioned regular habits, I have incorporated one more habits in me and finding it much beneficial and foccussed to life lately. It might sounds strange to many but at times when people are finding it difficult to stay away from their mobile devices, I prefer to keep myself distant from the technology or gadgets for some hours in the day.

Nowa days, mobile has been the greatest distractor of life. It has ended many relation and also causes break ups. People forget the real life. I remember, when the mobile technology was launched many people avoided to keep the mobile in trousers pockets or in the shirts pocket (near to the heart) assuming that the vibration or the mobile radiation may harm them. To an extent such logic was true and I fully supported them. Now with the development of smart phone and the way people are addicted to it. I find them quite awkward and pesce breaker. I have seen people keep gazing or careying their device 24*7. It was kind of inseparable for them.

    Virtual living

Thanks to the social media platform and also the different gaming option everyone is hooked to the mobile. Be it kids, or the youths or the adults. Be it a student, for their studies or people at work, everyone were hooked to their mobile devices for some work or the other. Even at home they remain attached their devices. I have seen people their mobile devices to washroom or toilet or even people carrying them to the place of worship. Even now people find their mobile device insepersble, during their workouts, the technology let us to stay connected through differrnt health apps. However I feel it is going to harm us in the longer run. Addiction above any limit is too harmful.

    My sacred time

In contrast, I prefer to stay away as much as possible. Even during my physical workouts or evening walk, I prefer to keep the devices at home. Staying away alwsys help us keep us focused more in life. A lonely time away from the technology is alwsys refreshing. Finding some lonely time away from then gadgets and disturbances are mindful. It allows me some peace of mind, and focus approach. It makes me to realize the existence of real life than the virtual life.

I think other people too, should incorporate this habits in life, an hour away from the mobile and see the difference it brings to the life. May be start with an hour and gradually you will start noticing the other important things in life. Which are much more important than scrolling the mobile screen. This is one of the ideal habits I have incorporated in my daily life and finding it more worthful.
