Mi hermano y mi cuñada saben de mi amor por la poesía así que me sorprendieron al recibirme con este maravillosa regalo.
Tres libros, tres compilaciones de poesía, cada una de un poeta diferente: Pablo Neruda, Federico García Lorca y Antonio Machado. Tres maestros a los que ya había leído, pero de los que seguramente podré seguir aprendiendo.
Estos libros forman parte de una colección sacada por Salvat, llamada "Poemas Esenciales" y que incluye aproximadamente a 12 poetas de renombre mundial.
Cada libro es una edición encuadernada en tapa dura y con unas ilustraciones delicadas y hermosas, de delicado diseño. Lo que lo convierte en una edición de lujo.
Cómo pueden ver no son nada pequeños, tienen un formato bastante grande.
La verdad es que estoy enamorada de los bonitos diseños floridos y con sus letras doradas y plateadas, además de sus colores que los hacen lucir tan clásicos y elegantes.
Cada libro incluye poemas seleccionados y está estructurado de forma que los poemas están agrupados según el libro en el que fueron publicados originalmente.
En casa tenemos muchos libros de colecciones de Salvat, porque el abuelo los coleccionó a lo largo de su vida. Muchos de ellos viajaron desde España hasta Venezuela cuando mis abuelos emigraron, pero ahora que hemos viajado hasta Argentina se quedaron en nuestra casa en Cumaná, la logística de trasladar esa biblioteca era muy complicada.
Tener estos libros de estos poetas que conocí de niña y a través de mi abuelo, me hace sentir nostalgia de los días los que mi abuelo nos leía o nos contaba historias, me hace sentirlo cerca y eso me gusta.
Así es como estos tres libros se unen a los otros 6 libros que traje desde Venezuela y van formando mi pequeña biblioteca personal, que seguramente con el tiempo seguirá creciendo.

Each book is a hardcover bound edition with delicate and beautiful illustrations, with a delicate design. Which makes it a deluxe edition.
As you can see, they are not small at all, they have a fairly large format.
The truth is that I am in love with the beautiful flowery designs and their gold and silver letters, as well as their colors that make them look so classic and elegant.
Each book includes selected poems and is structured so that the poems are grouped according to the book in which they were originally published.
At home we have many books from Salvat collections, because grandfather collected them throughout his life. Many of them traveled from Spain to Venezuela when my grandparents emigrated, but now that we have traveled to Argentina they stayed in our house in Cumaná, the logistics of moving that library were very complicated.
Having these books by these poets that I knew as a child and through my grandfather makes me feel nostalgic for the days when my grandfather read to us or told us stories, it makes me feel close to him and I like that.
This is how these three books join the other 6 books that I brought from Venezuela and form my small personal library, which will surely continue to grow over time.
