I'm writing this article in response to the next #challange50 photo challenge organised by @pavelsku
The assignment this time was quite easy. The task was to take at least 5 photos of any object we have in our kitchen. I am definitely not a photographer, foodblogger, or kitchen influencer, yet I liked my previous contest entry about healthy eating. So I decided to participate again. As an object of interest I chose an electric coffee grinder, which is frequentaly used in our kitchen.
Thanks to my dad, I have a positive attitude towards photography. Back in the days when there was a high-end 256Mb SD card, I got a 5MPX compact for my 18th birthday and took thousands of photos on it. A lot of water has passed and today it's been a few years since I've enjoyed the ability to take quality photos whenever I want, and it's the main reason I invested in a mobile phone with a quality camera.
Everything is taken with a Samsung Galaxy S10 mobile phone and edited in a standard editor - mobile app. For this contest entry, I decided to try out 3 preset filters for black and white photos that highlight or dim certain spectrums of colours. As an added bonus, I'm playing with slow-motion mode and converting to GIF format, something I've been wanting to try for a long time. I hope you like the result.

It's already pouring in! Of course there is a barista scale so we know how much to pour. I tried to sharpen the middle of the photo, yet the grains in motion remained blurry. I guess it's too much to ask for on the phone.

A builder, designer, or architect would say floor plan! We've got it stacked, weighed. Two batches ready to grind.

This photo probably should have started the article with a question, know what it is. Even the details can be taken quite believably by a phone. It's a mechanical system that adjusts the coarseness of the grind. What I like about the detail is the texture of the ground coffee, which is conjured up by the electrostatic electricity on the surface.

It was cloudy and raining while I was shooting this series of photos, and I was using a fluorescent light on my counter. It's a play of shadows and reflections of light from different materials and surface textures.

Catalogue photo at the end. A little simple, a little kitschy, a little bit of everything.
With that, I've met my limit and I say goodbye. I didn't have much inspiration and I was already a bit boiling out of water with the last photo. Thanks for the comments, upvotes, or constructive criticism.

Zadání bylo tentokrát poměrně snadné a časově nenáročné. Za úkol bylo pořídit minimálně 5 fotografií libovolného předmětu, který máme ve své kuchyni. Fotograf, foodbloger, ani kuchyňský influencer rozhodně nejsem, přesto se líbil můj předchozí soutěžní článek o zdravé výživě. Rozhodl jsem se proto opět zúčastnit. Jako objekt zájmu jsem si zvolil elektrický mlýnek na kávu, který je u nás hojně používaný.
Díky tátovi mám k fotografiím pozitivní vztah. V dobách, kdy byla high-end 256Mb SD karta jsem k osmnáctinám dostal 5MPX kompakt a udělal na něm tisíce fotek. Uteklo hodně vody a dnes už je to pár let, co si potrpím na možnosti pořizovat kvalitní fotografie, kdykoliv chci a je to hlavní důvod investice do mobilních telefonů s kvalitní kamerou.
Vše je foceno mobilním telefonem Samsung Galaxy S10 a upravováno ve standardním editoru - mobilní aplikaci. Rozhodl jsem se v rámci tohoto soutěžního článku vyzkoušet 3 přednastavené filtry pro černobílé fotky, které zvýrazňují, nebo tlumí určitá spektra barev. Jako bonus přidávám hrátky se slow-motion režimem a převedení do formátu GIF, což jsem chtěl už dlouho vyzkoušet. Doufám, že se Vám bude výsledek líbit.

Už se to tam sype! Samozřejmost je baristická váha, abychom věděli, kolik nasypat. Snažil jsem se ostřit prostředek fotky, přesto zrna v pohybu zůstala rozmazaná. Po telefonu bych chtěl asi moc.

Touto fotkou měl nejspíš článek začínat s dotazem, poznej co to je. I detaily zvládne poměrně věrohodně telefon vyfotit. Jedná se o mechanický systém, pomocí kterého nastavujeme hrubost mletí. Na detailu se mi líbí struktura pomleté kávy, kterou na povrchu vykouzlila elektrostatická elektřina.

Kávové zátiší. Během focení série těchto fotek bylo zataženo, pršelo a přisvětloval jsem si zářivkou na lince. Je to hra stínů a odrazů světla od různých materiálů a struktur povrchů.

Fotka do katalogu na závěr. Trochu jednoduchá, trochu kýčovitá, trochu od všeho.
Tímto jsem splnil limit a loučím se. Moc inspirace jsem neměl a už u poslední fotografie jsem trochu vařil z vody. Díky za komentář, upvotes, případně konstruktivní kritiku.
