Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 148, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the second topic for this week which is “YOUR FAVOURITE MUSIC”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “ONE CAR PER FAMILY”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community sharing with us their thoughts on the number of cars a family can have. If a rule was passed limiting one car to each family, they shared all the ways such a rule would affect the nation as a whole and how it would also affect consumer behavior.
For many, it would be a commendable development because they feel it would reduce the number of cars on the road. However, there were those who believe that it wouldn’t make much of a difference, and even make things worse in the long run. But then, we can only know for sure should such a rule ever be passed. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w148e1 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below.
Featured Contents
AN IDEA OF SELFISHNESS by @kilvnrex
This author told us that it was going to be a bad idea to limit one car to a family, because there were so many reasons why that would make lives more difficult for everyone. Large families would suffer for this, and couples who work in different parts of the city would also suffer as a result. It would be best to leave people to get as many cars as they wish.
A WORLD WHERE FAMILY CAN ONLY HAVE ONE CAR by @saydie
For this author, he’s of the opinion that limiting the number of cars a family can have would help to greatly reduce the traffic congestion that happens on the roads. With less cars around, people will find it easier to make their way around and not have to bother about traffic. So, such a rule will help to reduce such .
GREEN TRANSPORTATION: IS ONE CAR ENOUGH FOR A FAMILY? @manclar
For this author, he doesn’t think that limiting the number of cars a family can own is the solution. Instead, they can create an environment where carbon emissions would be properly regulated to reduce the rate of pullution in the society. If we are to take proper care of the planet, then more proactive steps must be taken.
