Took a class early this morning at the gym called Shred. It was interesting as I saw light weights lined up and thought that this may be too easy. However, it was quickly debunked for me as I could not maintain the reps with higher weights. I found myself lowering the weight for each circuit and in some instances not completing the timed rep. It was a great mix of cardio and weight training. I will definitely add it to my list of options at the gym going forward.
I treated myself to a longer than usual recovery session at the Steam Room and Suana. Left the gym with the need for food and energy as I still had chores to do at home. After a good meal, I was out for a good part of the afternoon on errands and then chores at home. Interestingly, I was still below my target activity for the day by the time the evening came. It made me get some extra pacing done around the house to get there. I added some extra chores as I looked to complete the day. It ended with me on the grill for a massive dinner with the family!
