Hace días que no escribía nada porque había tenido unos días muy ocupados, pero hoy decidí aprovechar mi día libre y disfrutar haciendo lo que me gusta: conocer los hermosos pueblos que tiene Colombia. Fui con un amigo que siempre sale a conocer pueblos. La aventura comenzó a las 10 de la mañana. Llegamos al terminal de Cali y desde allí tomamos un bus hacia el municipio de Jumbo, que está a unos 45 minutos de Cali aproximadamente. El costo del pasaje fue bastante económico. Antes de subir al bus, decidimos comer algo para iniciar nuestra pequeña aventura.
I went with a friend who always goes out to visit towns. The adventure began at 10 o'clock in the morning. We arrived at the Cali terminal and from there we took a bus to the town of Jumbo, which is about 45 minutes from Cali. The cost of the ticket was quite cheap. Before getting on the bus, we decided to eat something to start our little adventure.
El viaje duró 45 minutos y se me hizo bastante rápido llegar. Nos quedamos en una plaza en pleno centro de Jumbo y aprovechamos el hermoso día soleado para tomar algunas fotos. Tomamos un carro que nos llevó hasta un pequeño pueblo llamado La Cumbre, que pertenece al departamento del Valle del Cauca. Fueron aproximadamente unos 45 minutos desde Jumbo hasta La Cumbre. El carro que salía desde la plaza nos dejó en la entrada de La Cumbre, una zona muy alta en la montaña, llena de mucha naturaleza y unas vistas increíbles.
The trip took 45 minutes and it was quite fast for me to get there. We stayed in a square in the center of Jumbo and took advantage of the beautiful sunny day to take some pictures. We took a car that took us to a small town called La Cumbre, which belongs to the department of Valle del Cauca. It was about 45 minutes from Jumbo to La Cumbre. The car that left from the plaza dropped us off at the entrance of La Cumbre, a very high area in the mountains, full of nature and incredible views.
Desde que llegamos, me encantó el lugar. Había bastantes turistas, lo que me hizo darme cuenta de que es un sitio muy visitado por muchas personas para pasar un día diferente. Además, tiene lugares muy agradables para quedarse y una gastronomía variada donde se pueden disfrutar ricos desayunos y almuerzos, y no podía faltar el chocolate caliente con queso, que es muy común en estas zonas del país.
From the moment we arrived, I loved the place. There were quite a few tourists, which made me realize that it is a place visited by many people to spend a different day. In addition, it has very nice places to stay and a varied gastronomy where you can enjoy rich breakfasts and lunches, and could not miss the hot chocolate with cheese, which is very common in these areas of the country.

El pueblo es muy colorido, con algunas casas de estilo colonial que conservan bien su estructura. También pasamos por un sendero de aves y no faltaron los paseos a caballo.Tomé algunas fotos de los caballos, pero no pude disfrutar del paseo, solo mi amigo lo hizo, ya que tengo miedo debido a un pequeño accidente de una fuerte caída que tuve en un caballo hace años. Así que solo disfruté mirarlos y tocarlos.
The town is very colorful, with some colonial style houses that preserve their structure well. In addition, you can see some incredible bird sightings that can be enjoyed at certain times of the day. I took some pictures of the horses, but I could not enjoy the ride, only my friend did, as I am afraid due to a small accident from a hard fall I had on a horse years ago. So I just enjoyed looking at them and touching them.
Llegó la hora de almorzar y disfrutamos de la deliciosa gastronomía que ofrece este pueblo, descansamos, nos tomamos fotos y seguimos caminando por las pintorescas calles.
It was time for lunch and we enjoyed the delicious gastronomy that this town offers, rested, took pictures and continued walking through the picturesque streets.
