Hello fellow Actifiters and good day to you all 😊
Today is another school event for my son. It's their third portfolio day for the school year 2023-2024. Sadly as you can tell in the photo above it is wet coz it rained for the whole morning. The teachers were scrambling to fix the stage and to dry it up just to make it in time and they did.
Despite the inconveniences brought by the rain... we all know that the show must go on and thus instead of doing it normally the teachers decided to make a fast track of the event incase it rains again. Normally these kinds of event last until 12 noon but because of todays gloomy/rainy weather the event only lasted till 10AM. Luckily though it didn't rain again and the event ended successfully despite the inconveniences that happened.
As for me I am happy coz my son got into the top students for this 3rd portfolio day :) He got an average of 91 for all his subjects which makes me a happy father 😁 So I gave him a little reward after we got home and let him play his favorite game for 2 hours. Usually I don't let him play for more than 1 hour to prevent screen time addiction but sometimes we just have to make exceptions especially if they are doing their best in school 😊
