Country life

Hello everyone, this afternoon I did some gardening around the garden house. I noticed that the bananas I planted were ripening. Luckily I saw them before the birds and squirrels in this area. If I had seen them later, they would have shared the fruit. This area is where I plant many kinds of fruit trees, such as jackfruit, mango, lime, starfruit, and coconut. The growth of these plants is the same, so I couldn't see the bananas planted in this area if I looked from the front of the house. Luckily I walked as I told you.

The banana tree is planted near the lotus pond. The banana tree curves towards the water's edge because the banana bunch has a large comb that makes it bear a lot of weight. I trim the banana leaves to make it easier to cut the banana bunch. When I finished cutting, I put it in that area. Of course, I have a shadow that is my cat, Yuni. Don't get bored of me yet because he really follows me like his shadow.

In the area of the garden next to my house, I trimmed the weeds that grew in this area by using a machete and a sickle to help get rid of the weeds. When the area where I mowed the grass became brighter, it was cleaner. It looked more pleasing to the eye. You will notice that some fruit trees in the garden next to my house were bearing fruit and ripe, and I was able to pick these fruits to eat. Today, there were passion fruit and starfruit, but unfortunately the starfruit fruit, its ripe fruit, its branches extended to the edge of the lotus pond. When I pulled it down, it fell into the lotus pond, and I couldn’t pick it up. As for the coconut trees, they are now about 3 years old. Since I planted them, they have gradually blossomed. I am waiting to see if they will bear fruit or not because my family loves to drink coconut water. So I focused on planting many coconut trees in the garden. I trimmed the brown coconut leaves from the trees. In this picture, if you notice, in addition to the coconut trees, there are also white lotus trees in this pond. Before, the pond was full of lotus flowers, but now only half of the pond is left because the other half of the pond has aquatic weeds that have disturbed the lotus trees, causing them to decrease.

This corner is exciting. It is the back corner of the house where I planted the oil palm trees before I planted the oil palm trees 3 years ago. I planted various forest trees and I planted turmeric, fingerroot, and lemongrass in this area. When the dry season came, all of these herbs lost their leaves, leaving only the bulbs hidden in the soil. Therefore, I could not know where they were on the ground where I planted them. When I planted the oil palm trees, which are now 2 years old, the oil palm trees started to grow. The herbs that were bulbs under the soil also started to die. When I got to the base of the oil palm trees, I noticed turmeric without leaves and covered with a little soil. I was very happy and amazed by this kind of herb. So I went back to the garden house to get the equipment to dig up the turmeric. The equipment was a drum and a bucket. I put the turmeric in. When I dug, I knew right away that the soil around here was very hard. I had to dig up all the turmeric because the oil palm trees grew and covered it. While digging, I noticed that the roots of the oil palm trees were overcoming the turmeric trees because I noticed that some of the turmeric bulbs were withered and rotten. When I finished pressing the turmeric, I thought of propagating it and planting it in front of the house by putting it in a container. The rest is used.

Finished and came back to the garden house. The wind was very cool. Sit and rest to cool down. But the smell that came with the wind was the smell of dessert. So I walked to the jackfruit tree in front of the house. It was near the coconut tree and the star gooseberry tree. When I got to the jackfruit, it started to ripen. It smelled good. The cotyledons of the jackfruit were gone. I think I should be able to cut it in 1-2 days. The jackfruit tree in front of the house is very dense. When the jackfruit is ripe, I will write and tell my friends to read. Today, I have to go and rest first. Thank you to everyone who has been following my story all along. See you again next time with new stories about my kitchen garden.🍌
