When I saw this question the my Nigerian self immediately shouted" God forbid, it's not my portion."
Wait I know you can relate well with this statement and you are probably laughing out loud, but we are so religious that even the talk about death is not our portion.
But let's be realistic if it's not your portion then whose portion is it? Well the truth is that everyone portion will be served accordingly.
Let's get serious with this question. Just imagine that you've got an illness, and there's a medical cure for it, but there is no gas of improvement would you sign up for the trial?
Hmmmmm......this situation is just a thirty seventy chance.
30% of me will say take the risk what do I have to lose? After all death is death ("all die na die")
But the other 70% of me will just keep praying and managing.
There is no cure to this illness and some medical teams want's to use me as a guinea pig for experimental purpose.
Meeehnn that's a very useless and hopeless way to die.
Part of my other option is to ask the doctor can i manage this illnesses? I mean can I live with it?
Can I survive this illnesses without this procedures? If the answer is yes, guess what?
You guessed right I will manage it with good faith, prayers and a good herbal remedy...the Nigerian way.😁
In the end it all boils down to survival. I will stick to the old ways of fighting illness and add some little touch of hope, and a sprinkle of food vibes.
