Hello, Holozing community, once again here to show you my new fanart. This time I did an embroidery of Fal, this tiny and serious bird that has its evolutions, but I chose the smallest one for now, later I will do the others. For this embroidery I used a smaller size hoop that I bought recently to make smaller works, because sometimes I don't have enough thread for big drawings. Also, in this hoop I can make the character in full size, making it stand out much more. I tried to use the yarn colors as similar as possible to the character for a better result.
In the silhouette of this drawing I tried something different: a new stitch that I learned and is used a lot for silhouettes. It's called chain stitch, and it's done with the hand needle. So you can imagine how long it took me, I liked the way it looks, but what patience you have to have, I got tired with it and I still needed the filling. It took me two days to complete this embroidery, I took advantage of every free moment I had, but here is the result. I hope you like it. Hola, comunidad de Holozing, una vez más por aquí para mostrarte mi nuevo fanart. En esta ocasión hice un bordado de Fal, esta diminuta y seria ave que tiene sus evoluciones, pero escogí el más pequeño por ahora, más adelante haré los demás. Para este bordado utilicé un aro de un tamaño menor que compré hace poco para hacer trabajos más pequeños, pues a veces no me alcanza el hilo para dibujos grandes. Además, en este aro puedo hacer el personaje a tamaño completo, haciéndolo resaltar mucho más. Traté de usar los colores de los hilos lo más semejante posible al personaje para un mejor resultado.
En la silueta de este dibujo probé algo diferente: una nueva puntada que aprendí y se utiliza mucho para las siluetas. Se llama puntada cadeneta, y se hace con la aguja de mano. Así que se podrán imaginar cuánto me demoré, me gustó como queda, pero qué paciencia hay que tener, me cansé solo con ella y todavía me faltaba el relleno. Demoré dos días para completar este bordado, aprovechaba cada momento que tenía libre, pero aquí tienen el resultado. Espero que les guste. To begin, I took a sheet of paper to draw the character and use it as a mold. To transfer the drawing I used a carbon paper. In this step it is important not to move the sheet and the fabric to avoid imperfections in the silhouette of the drawing. Then I placed it on the frame and drew grass on the lower part of the character.
Para comenzar, tomé una hoja de papel para dibujar el personaje y utilizarlo como molde. Para transferir el dibujo utilicé un papel carbón. En este paso es importante no mover la hoja y la tela para evitar imperfecciones en la silueta del dibujo. Luego lo coloqué en el bastidor y dibuje hierba en la parte inferior del personaje.

I started embroidering the whole silhouette of the drawing with black thread to highlight all the lines that define each part. As I was saying, I embroidered the silhouette with the chain stitch, it was very tedious because, being the first time I did this stitch, it took me a long time. Then, with a dark gray tone, I embroidered around the eyes and under the wing.
Comencé a bordar toda la silueta del dibujo con hilo negro para resaltar todas las líneas que definen cada parte. Como les decía, la silueta, la bordé con la puntada llamada cadeneta, fue de lo más tedioso porque, al ser la primera vez haciendo esta puntada, me demoraba mucho. Luego, con un tono de gris oscuro, bordé alrededor de los ojos y debajo del ala.

With the yellow thread I embroidered the legs and the beak and with two different shades of carmelite I embroidered the rest of the feathers on the head and the wing.
Con el hilo amarillo bordé las patas y el pico y con dos tonos diferentes de carmelita bordé el resto de las plumas de la cabeza y el ala.

I embroidered the breast of the bird with a tone of off-white and filled in the eyes with green and white. I took advantage of the fact that I had the needle strung with the green and with this same color of thread I made the silhouettes of the grass.
Con un tono como de blanco hueso bordé el pecho del ave y con verde y blanco rellené los ojos. Ya aproveché que tenía ensartada la aguja con el verde y con este mismo color de hilo hice las siluetas de la hierba.
