HOW IT CAME ABOUT
The group missionette started in the year 1980 this is when the missionet program started, an organization of this type was requested because girls were eager to have a missionary group where they could enjoy good times with other girls and do things to help each other.
the women ministry of assemblies of God was asked to prepare a program to interest girls when the first material were presented in 1956 which became a reality in a short time missionette group were organized in every district in the united states and also in many countries around the world
originally missionette was intended for girls from age 12 to 17 in 1960 the structure was changed to include Junior girls the addition of primary mission in 1968 the program is now set of daisies age 5 to 6 prime 8 7 to 10 yes junior ages 11 to 14 and senior ages 15 to 20
Missionette is an auxiliary of women's ministry the national WM coordinator is the national missionette coordinator actively directing the program as the national missionettes director the local missionette women's ministry assist the missionette in every way possible missionette sponsors are chosen from the women ministry group, missionette sponsors must be qualified and being in good standing in the church.
There is a task in the missionette group and every girl child gets a crown and to get to that stage you have to go through series of engagement and activities and most importantly a test that qualifies you to be crowned,
I started teaching my girls in my church so they can be prepared for the test not just to pass but to have a good knowledge of it and to be princesses of the kingdom.
I had to get them their the hand book which would be of help to them, and they had to study within short notice or they can do it in the next three years which was quite far, and they would be in school by then,
