I’m heading back to London in April to join up with the merry band at Black Ivory Printmaking and Audio Club. We’re going to have a very creative and playful 10 days. I’ll be taking an overnight in a little village outside Retford where my patronym is descended from. I want to take pictures of their graves in the churchyard. A half hour train ride from the village is the city of Lincoln, where I have been invited by another Stuckist to show at his new gallery. Oh boy, is he in for a treat, (or not!). I purchased 50 11 x 14" sheets of corrugated cardboard on the cheap. These paintings are two of the 50 I’ll post to his place before I arrive. All paintings I make this year are free, so like it or not Lincolninians, some Ron Throops will end up on your walls!
