Life is too short to be living people's expectations and hoping to please everyone.
You can't spend the rest of your life doing what everyone wants you to do. All for what? Validation that will fade away when someone else replaces you?
Sometimes you got to believe in your own decisions, chin up, back straight and walk with a gracious poise.
The more you keep being a people pleaser, the more you keep getting hurt and the more the depression kicks in and before you realize it, you've lived decades with no genuine joy.
Life is too short to be thinking "what will people think?".
Don't get me wrong, we all need people, yeah? but then, don't let them be the decision makers of every turn or phase of your life.
