Nothing beats a calm morning before work, especially on a day like this. No leisurely stroll before the show today—public transport was still on strike, so I had more than enough walking to do just to get to the venue and back. It was pretty foggy and I left early, carving out a quiet moment by the water for breathing and meditation exercises with wet air. A small pause, a deep breath, a bit of stillness before the stage lights flickered on. On my way home, the city's tallest landmark caught my eye. The TV Tower stood out against the evening sky, framed by dark clouds and the structures of Friedrichstrasse station to the left. No nature motif this time—just a bit of unexpected sightseeing as a tourist in my own city.
Nichts geht über einen entspannten Morgen vor der Arbeit, besonders an so einem Tag. Kein gemütlicher Spaziergang vor der Show – der öffentliche Nahverkehr streikte noch immer, also war der Weg zur Venue und zurück schon Bewegung genug. Es war ziemlich nebelig und ich war früh genug losgegangen, um mir einen ruhigen Moment am Wasser für Atem- und Meditationsübungen zu gönnen mit feuchter Luft. Eine kurze Pause, ein tiefer Atemzug, ein wenig Stille, bevor die Scheinwerfer angingen. Auf dem Heimweg fiel mein Blick auf das höchste Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Der Fernsehturm ragte markant vor dunklen Wolken auf, eingerahmt von den Strukturen des Bahnhofs Friedrichstraße zur Linken. Heute mal kein Naturerlebnis – sondern ein unerwarteter Hauch von Sightseeing.
