Omrice = Omllet + rice

The other day, I had lunch with a friend (benefactor) who has been a great help to me since the time I was studying in the United States. We had a great time talking about the old days, and the more than 20 years disappeared in the blink of an eye, bringing back many memories of those days that are truly irreplaceable. During my poor student days, they always invited us to their house, hosted dinner parties for us hungry students, and taught us how to live in the country. She was a truly grateful friend and benefactor. The omu-rice we ate together became a memorable omu-rice. 🥚 I really appreciate that I can call her a friend 😄🙌

先日、米国へ留学していた当時からお世話になっている友人（恩人）と久々に再会して食事をしてきた。昔話しに花が咲き、20年を越える歳月もあっという間に消え去り当時の思い出が色々と思い出されて本当にかけ替えの無い時間を過ごすことが出来ました。本当に貧乏な学生時代に、空腹の私たち学生に対していつも家に呼んでくれ、食事会を開いてくれ、また、現地で生活をするうえでのノウハウを教えてくれました。本当にありがたい友人、そして恩人です。一緒に食べたオムライス、思い出のオムライスになりました。
