Christmas day celebration with family

Hello everyone, happy welcome to the year 2025. It promises to be a great year if only we work towards achieving our goals.

The Christmas season was indeed a season of love and sober reflection for me as I lost an uncle who was dear to my heart about 2 days before Christmas. Not the less, Christmas still went on.

I am not a big fan of outings, especially on days when there is a general celebration, because malls and other places of public attraction are usually congested and jam-packed, so for this reason I always try to make my outings on days when I know the crowd will be minimal.

I had to travel from Abeokuta, Ogun State, back to Delta for an event decoration the weekend before the week of Christmas.

The Christmas Day celebration started early as we briefly had a family devotion, and thereafter we prepared and went to church for the Christmas Day service, because Jesus is the reason for the season. It was necessary to have a celebration in church in the congregation of Christians since Christ is the prototype for our lives as Christians.

After the service we went home, and my mum made some rice and fried some chicken, then my brother grated the salad ingredients, which Mum had gotten from the market the previous day. Food was ready, and we ate and saw a movie together. Later we watched the Christmas Day Premier League football games.

The matches that particularly caught my attention during the Premier League games were the matches between Fulham and Chelsea, where Chelsea lost two goals to one to Fulham, a game in which Chelsea led almost all through, only for things to turn around within moments to the end of the match. The second game that caught my attention on that day was the game between Liverpool and Leicester City, where Liverpool demolished Leicester by a whooping three goals to one. In addition to other games played on that day, I saw the highlights, but these two games caught my attention, and the particular day

Later that evening we had a visit from some of the kids in church, my favorite twins, whose names are Majesty and Mirabel, came around as well. I couldn't give them a photo of them because the boy, Majesty, just wanted to play since he hadn't seen me in a long time, while his sister just wanted to get some good photo shoots, and for the fact that each time I went for a decoration job and came back, I gave them balloons, they wanted me to give them some balloons, which I obliged because I hadn't seen them in a long time, and well

My brothers and I later went out to visit one of our family friends who requested our presence that evening.

This was how I spent my Christmas at home watching TV and just receiving a few guests.
