Good morning hivers!
My grandmother always remind us that we should refrain from eating meat during the holy week. We went on eating vegetables and rootcrops. Then, those knowledge I got from my old folks, I gladly shared it in our school during feeding or everytime we have lesson about food and etiquette.
So yesterday, we had it for our lunch.My working students prepared it from cleaning, washing , slicing and I was just the chef. I instructed them what would be the steps and all.
Ingredients:
- lady finger
- squash
- moringa
- lemon grass
- spinach
- green chili
- ube
- alukbati
- tomato
- ginger
- coconut milk
- Chinese Okra(payola)
- salt to taste
- onion
It served 6 person with while rice. I ate a lot of these veggies with three tablespoon of rice. I am diabetic and hypertension plus asthma and a person without spleen. Only God knows my life but 10 years without spleen, I survived during pandemic. I was so very careful with extra care that time. This place helped me a lot living a healthier environment.
Try to ask people around you if they heard about having no spleen. That is why I am always eating healthy foods but still I am gaining weight, I was 50 kilos before when I started working in this place and now I am 78 pilots. Later I will show you my old and new picture. The spirit of love and being loved despite of my health issues gave me strength everyday.
