Painted jezebel butterfly

Today I found another butterfly with a beautiful and striking wing pattern. It was hiding among the leaves of an orange plant. No matter how neatly it hides behind the leaves, I will find it, its striking color makes it easy for my sense of sight to find its whereabouts. It was easy to find its whereabouts but difficult in the photo shoot, it perched on a leaf that was higher than me.

The challenge that had to be solved, had to successfully capture it. The butterfly had a good attitude, it did not fly even though the place where it perched was slightly shaken by the touch of my hand. It remained relaxed perched there, it gave me time and opportunity to successfully photograph it. This was something extraordinary that I encountered today.

It was a painted jezebel butterfly or in Latin known as delias hyparete, which is one of the butterflies with a unique pattern with striking colors that comes from the pieridae family. For its habitat, this butterfly spends more time in gardens or the wild, I rarely find this butterfly in the park. Like the one I encountered, the butterfly was in an orange grove.
