something I strongly believe is that I can never be lacking financially as far as I am doing something meaningful with my time, yes, it can seems tough when i do not get the things i want, but trust is in me that a time is coming that I would be looking around no more on how to satisfied my needs but I will lived comfortable with what I make.
The only thing I know of wealthy is time, so at any moment, we see that, the things we needs are too much for us, what's best to do is, to stop stretching our hands and lived with those things we can afford.
Few months ago, I was called by someone, according to the caller, he was looking for somebody who can write some songs for him and he said, a person recommend me to him that I am good in writing songs, but to me, music is something I have long overlooked, not like I am leaving the hustle, I was just taking a break after seeing, I need to go for what is within my reach first and in the future when I have seen my strength is enough, I can go back, continue from where I stop and also had some song's recorded as well, because it's always my dream to become a well known artist someday.
But i was delighted by his call, and we fixed a venue to meet, I wasn't after what I would charge, I guessed that is always my lifestyle, I do not placed charges first in business, because I prefer a long standing partnership and I know that goodswill can even paid more than the money I will charge at the early stage.
I gave him the day's I would take to write those song's for him and, when I sent him a copy, I finds out that he was not following along with the tunes, rhythms and the melodies so well, I had to visit him in his resident here in Rivers State and we talked it out.
I explain how everything in those songs should be carried out and I had to meet with his record producer who will handled the recording as well, I am sure he got me understood, while I am still waiting for him to release the songs, I asked him who referred me to him, because, everything about me and music was long taken a paused, since 2019 after I make a performance at the NYSC camp, on the Mancho night.
It is not like I am living music entirely, but I was seeing that, I needed to fixed some certain things in my life first, before I go again for the movement.
An interesting part here was that, having a conversation about music, brings me closer to it, and also it makes me to understand that, even while I took a paused on the hustle, my time in it wasn't a waste, all the activities we do has a day that we will get rewarded.
Even in those days when I was up and running in the music hustle, I never got paid, I used my funds in doing what I did, but I never knew that someone likes my skill and I got paid when I didn't expect.
This doesn't means that i am back to the music hustle yet, I am still watching and learning how to get attention in the industry, I can do the skill of writing songs for people if I have another deal, but for me, I am taking my time studying, so that when I go back, I do not make mistakes of grabbing the attention I needed to sell my songs globally.
right now, i am not bother how long, but I want to be fulfilled prepared.
