There is no right way to do wrong
My dad says this all the time and it always resonates with me because i had to realize that there's no.gray area when it comes to the things of God and the things of this world. It don't matter if you're lying for a good reason, it's still a lie and God still has a standard.
A lot of times I realized i was trying to be robin hood with my relationship with God and even though i was maybe doing stuff for the right reasons, though i maybe not have been doing exactly what everybody else was doing, it didn't mean that it was right. Just because you're doing better than everybody else, just because you're not doing what everybody else is doing around you, it don't mean that what you're doing is Holy.
Inside of God our standard should not be this world it should be the word and if i really have a desire to please God first before myself and before anybody else around me then i really would choose to dedicate my life to the commandments that are in his word, because i know that all the boundaries that goyd put in place are not to harm me but to protect me or not to keep me left out and isolated, but to protect me from the things of this world.
God sees beyond what we can see, he understands that if we do certain things that go beyond what his commandments, say in his word it's going to harm us and it's actually going to make the world a harder place to live in which we can see by the world that it's not an easy place to live.
We have to choose to commit to God first and if we keep judging our sin by the standards of this world we will never walk in holiness and righteousness.
