Holla amigos wonderful people of this community. Trust your day started off well. Today I bring to you the report of our first #spendhbd and #hive meetup for the year 2025 @devillahotbar.

It's been a while now that plans has been put into place by the Lagos local guide @beauty197 to have a hive meeting where we can discuss and address lots of issues affecting the activity of the group members.
Conclusion was made on Monday when we had our last group shopping, and we initially chose 4pm but considering how late @devillahotbar usually get their meat ready, we adjusted our time to 5pm.
Everyone arrived at the venue on time except me because I had my family weekend shopping to handle before attending the @Spendhbd meetup. So I was a tiny bit late 😉.
We got there and the floor was opened for questions that would be answered by the local guide. Group members asked questions such as;
- What is HBD?
- What's the difference between HP and HBD?
- At what point can someone unstake their HP?
- How is the author payout calculated?
- How to delegate to communities?
- How to include videos on their post.
It was an interesting discussion and for the first time, proper explanations of how #hive as a blockchain works, ways of improvement in the different communities we all belong and how to be consistent by setting #spendhbd goals.
All questions were answered and understood. After the discussion, we ordered for our drinks and meat (Asun), we took lovely memorable pictures together and called it night.
I got back home pretty late and decided to settle for tea and bread as dinner, thankfully I had gotten bread from @bokku-mart before the @Spendhbd meet up.
