Hello Hivers @Homesteadingcommunity. Welcome to my Blog. Trust you are doing good?
Today, I'm talking about soybeans plants. Soybeans is a grain legume that is nutritional and is forty percent high in protein and has the highest protein ratio among pulses.
It can be used for oil extraction, it can be use to produce soybeans milk, which seems to be one of my favorite milk, and can be use directly for food, it is mostly use for making soybeans cake, popularly known as awara in the northern part of Nigeria. I enjoy soybeans cake with fresh bread so well😋...
Also, when mixing up feeds for my livestocks, poultry feed, and aquaculture I mix the feed up with soybeans because it serves as a rich protein.

It is best to plant soybeans during raining season either in the morning or evening to Avert direct sunlight on the inoculated seeds.
We planted our soybeans, three months ago. Hopefully, we are harvesting our soybeans in two months time because it takes about four to five months after planting, for harvest, depending on the time of sowing and the variety of seed used. Early maturing seeds takes seventy days to be harvested that's after planting. Seeds that are matured takes about one hundred and eighty days after planting.
Best way to harvest soybeans is by cutting the matured plant at ground level by using hoe or cutlass.
Thanks for visiting my Blog 🙏❤️
