Hello everyone, I hope we're all doing well... it's hive music festival week 69 Round 3, big thanks to music zone community and all its Admins and MOD's for giving us this wonderful platform to share and explore great tunes. Last week was amazing and I guess this week will be super amazing.
This week I'll be presenting a worship medley, combination of two popular songs, or maybe I'll say it's popular in my country, I'm not sure if people from other countries are also familiar with the song. The first is "How excellent is your name oh Lord" while the second is "Oh Lord my God, how excellent is your name."
The two songs has something in common, just as the lyrics of the song, it's about the name of the Lord, how excellent his name is. The name of the Lord is special, honourable, supreme, powerful, mighty and any other beautiful thing you can compare it with.
These two songs despite being quite simple took me more than one hour before I could make a manageable video, I keep doing it over and over again, it was obviously because of the guitar though, if it was just Acapella I know I would crush it within a twinkle of an eye. But to play along with the song gave me a tough time.
Playing guitar to my songs is something I want to be doing more often now, I pray and hope I'll have the strength to be consistent.
Like I said earlier the song is a popular song, it's one of those popular song that we do sing in church over here.
Okay so about what I played on the guitar, it's just the normal major chords I, IV, V but this time around I added one minor chord, chord II.
