In a few days my papaya plants will start to flower, I can't wait to try these fruits.

Hello friends, it is a pleasure to be here again, to talk to you a little about my papaya crops, I TELL YOU that in November of last year my wife bought two papaya fruits at the supermarket, the truth is that when we cut one of them, we realized that its color was wonderful, it had a reddish color and besides that, when we tasted it it was quite sweet, so my wife told me that she wanted to collect those seeds to plant them, the truth is that my wife had a good idea, so the following week when we arrived at the farm the first thing I did was the seedbeds to germinate those papaya seeds
Yes, friends, the truth is that my wife and I were delighted with the flavor of the papaya we bought at the supermarket, so we decided to collect those seeds to try to propagate that variety. I believe it's the "Red Lady Papaya." I germinated the seeds in plastic bags; those bags are sold exclusively for plants:

Look how the seeds germinated: (20 days after sowing)

As you can see, the plants are still small, so I had to wait at least three more weeks before transplanting.

My papaya seedlings 45 days after germination:

At 45 days, the papaya seedlings had already reached a height of 20 centimeters, so it was time to transplant. So, at the beginning of January of this year, I transplanted these papaya plants.

After 45 days, the plants were ready for transplanting. Take a look at them:

Well, friends, it's been 3 months since I transplanted my papayas. During this time, I've tried to keep them healthy so they bear good fruit, because I hope they'll be like the ones my wife and I used to eat.

Look how big my papayas have gotten in 3 months!

    Caring for my papaya plants

Well, friends, all plants require a lot of care. Mainly, you have to fertilize them during their growth process. You also have to keep them free of weeds. Last week, I had to clean all the paths between the rows of papayas.

I hope to enjoy some delicious papaya fruit.

I think my papaya plants will soon begin to flower. I'd say their first fruit should appear in less than a month, because this type of plant begins to produce fruit at just one meter tall. The truth is, I'm eager to taste the fruit from my papayas because I hope they inherit the same flavor and color as the fruit my wife bought at the supermarket.

Greetings and many blessings to all.......
