From the book of Matthew 10:1 we understand that there some authorities given to those Christ called his disciples which includes the power to cast out devil and unclean spirits also the power to heal those your were oppressed with sickness and diseases this were among the evidence of their discipleship they were following their master obediently that he gave them the same authority that he had but then this authorities were given to oblut the twelve Christ has chosen and those twelve were called the Apostles now we understand that Jesus had many disciples but then he chose the particular twelve to called them apostles we see that in Luke 6:13 that's to show that all apostles are disciples but not all disciples are apostles
And in 2Timothy 3:10 we see the qualities a disciple should possible Paul in his address to Timothy said all disciples should observe to do all the doctrines of Christ which is his manner of life his purpose faith long suffering charity and patience observing to do all and not leaving one behind a good disciple doesn't question the commands of his master or even object to the instructions rather he or she follows with all diligent forgetting oneself and fully laid down for the masters use
The lesson I learnt from this teaching is that we should endeavor to work effectively and obedient to the leadings of Christ following every of his instructions so that we can be identified as true disciples of Christ
